He didn’t use words… but he spoke straight to my heart.

A gentle hand on mine — that was his ‘hello.’
In that moment, I was reminded that connection isn’t always spoken.

Sometimes the softest gestures carry the loudest meaning.

"Building a Strong Foundation in Math!

At Suredge Preparatory School, we believe in introducing quantity over rote counting to our young learners. This approach prepares them for solving mathematical problems with place values in primary level.

Using hands-on materials like cards and counters for numbers 1-10, and the Seguin board for numbers 11-19, our children develop a deep understanding of quantity and place value.

With our self-corrective materials, children learn at their own pace, progressing from counting below 10 to above 10 when they're ready.

This activity is specially designed for our 3-4 year old learners, laying the foundation for a lifelong love of math!

It was a fun-filled day.

"Counting Beyond Symbols!

Why quantity over rote counting?

Rote counting focuses on memorizing symbols (1, 2, 3), whereas quantity counting develops a deeper understanding of number values.

With bead stairs, children:

📌Visualize numbers as concrete quantities
📌Understand relationships between numbers
📌Develop foundational math skills
📌Build problem-solving abilities

By learning numbers in quantity, our little mathematicians will:

📌Recognize patterns and sequences
📌Compare and contrast numbers
📌Make connections to real-life situations

Montessori bead stairs offer a hands-on approach to math, fostering:

Critical thinking
Independence
Self-directed learning

Join us in nurturing curious minds and math enthusiasts!

How many of us understood the components of the world we live in during early years?

This is how we help our absorbent minds discover the wonders of our world, one touch at a time!

Our little explorers are learning about the continent globe, and we're excited to share this journey with you!

Do they know? Let them know!

The Earth is made up of 70% water and 30% land?
There are 7 continents: Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America?

Using a Montessori globe helps children:

📌Understand the concept of continents and countries
📌Visualize the Earth's proportions and geography
📌Develop spatial awareness and critical thinking
📌Foster curiosity and interest in global cultures

By introducing children to the continent globe, we're helping them:

📌Develop a sense of global citizenship.
📌Appreciate diversity and cultural differences.
📌Build foundational knowledge for future geography and science studies.

Let's inspire the next generation of global thinkers and explorers!

Have you done something to your child that you so regret? The worst is, you were wrongly advised into this regretable act by a school.

A mum told me about her 10 year old. That as a toddler was smart, outgoing and jovial.

She enrolled her into a school, and they discovered that she is left handed.

The school advised her to do everything possible at home to stop her from using her left hand while they do theirs in school.

They succeeded in making her to stop using her left hand, and start using her right hand to write, but...

The consequences of their actions:

1. The child now processes information slowly.

2. She easily forgets concepts taught in class.

3. She has lost her self esteem

4. She has become timid.

5. She is now resistant to some changes.

To get her back to who she was or should be, the services of these therapists need to be engaged.

1. Cognitive Behaviour Therapist
2. Occupational Therapist
3. Behaviour Therapist.

To engage just one of these therapists is not cheap, talk more of engaging all at a time. Talk about expensive mistake!

A CHILD THAT USES LEFT IS WIRED THAT WAY, DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO RUINING SOMEONE'S LIFE!

Have you or someone you know experienced this? Lets hear from you.
