I have been directed to inform all Staff and Students that Academic and Administrative activities earlier suspended due to the Easter break will resume on Tuesday 7th April, 2026. Consequently, all Staff and Students are to note that the First Semester Examination earlier scheduled to hold from Tuesday 7th - 18th April, 2026 has been put on hold. A new date will be communicated accordingly.

To this end, Head of Departments are requested to collect examination materials from the stores preparatory to the commencement of the examination, pls.

Today at Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin‑Ladi. The Rector, Dr. Clement Chirman, together with the management team, welcomed a delegation from GIZ who presented the institution with CBT learning tools (two Raspberry Pi units and twenty phone tablets) to support the implementation of the competency‑based training (CBT) program on campus. Dr. Chirman expressed gratitude to GIZ for its collaboration, and affirmed the polytechnic’s commitment to expanding technical education in Plateau State. He also conveyed hope for continued partnership and further opportunities in the years ahead. On behalf of the institution and its instructors, we extend a sincere thank you to GIZ and GFA for its unwavering support in advancing technical education across Plateau State.

New HND courses have been introduced and approved under the leadership of Dr. Clement Chirman, Rector Plateau State Polytechnic Barkin. Below 👇are the newly approved programs. Sales of forms are already on. Those interested should visit the ICT Center at Main/Jos Campus to purchase their forms.
