*BREAKING ❗❗❗*
JAMB has disclosed that the board will introduce the use of USSD code as an option to the SMS process of generating a profile code for registration. According to JAMB, this is part of the measures to address some challenges experienced by candidates of its Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The Registrar of the board, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede the use of the USSD code would commence from Friday, April 30. He disclosed this during a news briefing at the board’s headquarters in Bwari, Abuja, on Monday.
He frowned at the fact that service providers had, continued to extort candidates and parents by deducting N50 SMS charges at each trial to generate a profile without a positive response. He stated that these charges do not come to JAMB but to the service providers.
He further stated that the board has directed all the exercise providers and to go back and ensure that where a profile code was not sent to a candidate after deducting the money, such monies should be refunded to the candidates.
He however said that though JAMB does not have the capacity to enforce this refund or monitor compliance, the board will involve the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission to ensure it is done as well as invite Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to monitor and check on the service providers.
This means that from April 30th, candidates can generate profile codes for UTME registration by dialing *55019*1*NIN #
Oloyede also said that candidates who had registered for UTME in the previous year could also generate a code with the same telephone number, following the 2021 process of generating a profile code. The Registrar equally stated that the problems candidates are having in generating profile codes are caused by the candidates themselves.
Some of the errors, he noted, were candidates mistakenly sending ‘NIN’ with no space before typing the actual number. ” Some type without spacing, some include comas and even hyphen.

*UTME candidates to be refunded for unsuccessful registration – JAMB*
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has promised to refund monies paid by candidates who were unable to generate profile codes due to poor network or delayed response from telecommunication service providers
The exam body, however, warned that the refund will not apply to wrong registrations, in the case of candidates who entered wrong codes while trying to generate their profiles.
The JAMB Registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede, who disclosed this on Monday said the decision was arrived at after consultations with stakeholders.
He explained that service providers have also agreed to the refund decision.
Oloyede, who said the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission and the Nigerian Communications Commission have been drafted in to monitor the refund, lamented that parents were being extorted by telecoms service providers.
He said: “All those concerned will have to go back and ensure that when a service is not fully rendered and if there had been any charge that had been made this should be refunded to the candidates.
“We have reached this agreement with Digital Pulse that we will work with the service providers to make sure that the service providers refund where they have taken money from candidates.”
The registrar also disclosed that by Friday, candidates will have the option of using the Unstructured Supplementary Service Data to generate their profile code.

JAMB secret, as I have termed it, I will reveal to you in this article.
I have told many UTME candidates that JAMB 2021 will be passed by many, and hence, admission will be very competitive.
In order to increase your chance of gaining admission in 2021, you need to score very high in UTME.
If you have been following my previous JAMB updates, passing JAMB 2021/2021 should not be difficult for you.
In today’s article, I will be revealing to you 7 top secrets to pass JAMB 2021/2021 excellently.
Well, no much stories today. Follow me as I reveal to you powerful JAMB secrets 2021/2021 to pass JAMB without stress.
So, let’s dive straight in.
JAMB Secrets Every UTME Candidate Must Know In 2021
1. UTME Is Very Simple
The greatest fear of a lot of UTME candidates is entering the CBT examination hall.
This is not surprising as they have been made to believe that UTME is very hard.
This is very WRONG! Honestly, the Unified Tertiary And Matriculation Examination (UTME) is one of the easiest examination I have written in my life.
In fact, I easily scooped 337 in my UTME back in 2018 and you can do even better.
PS: If you do not prepare for JAMB very well, it will be as difficult as anything.
To other people, UTME is one of the hardest examination they have written.
Some have resat for UTME more than once and still haven’t passed.
The BIG SECRET?
I prepared for JAMB using PROVEN STRATEGIES THAT WORK!
This is no big secret anymore as I have revealed everything in this article.
The way you prepare for JAMB will determine what you will score.
Now, you know UTME is very simple.
Putting that in mind, let’s move to the next JAMB secret.

*_JAMB RESOLVES NIN ISSUES COMMENCES FULL REGISTRATION FOR 2021_*
_The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB, has today been the 10th of April, 2021 resolves all NIN issues and are set to commence full registration on Monday been the 12th of April, 2021._
_The JAMB 2021 registration is for both Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (D.E) candidates._
*It can vividly be recalled that, the registration was suppose to commence on Thursday been the 8th of April, 2021 ,But was actually put on hold due to the challenge of NIN integration.*
*_However, the JAMB head media and protocol, Doctor Fabian Benjamin has said that, the registration for the examination will commence fully on Monday as such issues relating to NIN has been resolved._*
_He said that, the board apologizes for the breakdown but actually cleared the air saying that the registration was put on hold so as to resolve some technical difficulties._
*_Finally he said, full registration processes will commence on Monday, 2021_* .
*_Candidates are to get their JAMB profile codes and e-pins before proceeding to any CBT centre to complete their registration._*
_Remember! NIN is a compulsory document required for the procurement of your JAMB profile code._
