The school is a government approved school, an accredited center for WAEC, NECO, BECE and CBT center in the making.

WAEC officials visited DMERT Excellence Schools to carry out inspection of facilities (Science Labs, school farm, ICT lab, Biology and Agric Lab, Physics Lab etc) for accrediting DES as a center for Senior WAEC and GCE examinations.
They were satisfied with all the facilities inspected even the CBT hall for JAMB examinations.
