UNVEILING THE TRUTH: MISCONCEPTIONS AND SABOTAGE IN THE BIAFRAN STRUGGLE

The root of these men’s frustration lies in the decentralization of our men on Ground—a necessary step to curb their lack of transparency. Igwe Butuzor and others wanted sole control over incoming funds. Decentralization ended that theft and mistreatment, allowing each command to receive its own funding directly. If you genuinely want our Men on Ground to be well-equipped and effective, you should support this move—it’s the path forward.
Gentle De-Yahoo’s anger stems from his command submitting an exorbitant bill exceeding N120 million. Consider this: if one command out of 40 states demands N120 million, and another requests N80 million for a single month, how much would the remaining 38 states require? Are these millions supposed to come from the $10, $20, or $100 donations raised weekly? When Gentle’s command was told the government couldn’t afford such an amount, he grew furious, claiming the funds were diverted to recruit Ebubeagu.
Many of these individuals assume weekly fundraisers yield millions of dollars. They’re unaware of the damage caused by the Ọge Nkere group, whose sabotage drastically reduced donor numbers—a deliberate tactic. Biafrans, be discerning. You’re being manipulated. Dr. Ngozi Orabueze is doing her best and cannot exhaust herself to appease those fixated on funds. Ease your criticism of her.

UNVEILING THE TRUTH: MISCONCEPTIONS AND SABOTAGE IN THE BIAFRAN STRUGGLE

Recently, I’ve encountered numerous comments from Biafrans on social media urging the United States of Biafra Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Ngozi Ezeobika Orabueze to reconcile with the "Men on Ground," particularly Commander Gentle De-Yahoo. These remarks often leave me unsettled, as it’s evident that many of these individuals lack a clear understanding of the underlying issues.
Allow me to illustrate my point with an analogy. Imagine you’re part of a family, standing outside your fenced compound. Suddenly, you hear your relatives inside shouting and arguing. Instead of stepping in to investigate the cause of the dispute, you remain outside the gate, yelling at the family head to stop the quarrel. Does that seem logical? If you’re honest, the sensible approach would be to enter the compound, uncover the root of the conflict, offer guidance where necessary, and then advocate for peace. Taking sides without understanding the situation is either petty or deliberately mischievous, in my view.
To those insisting that Dr. Ngozi Orabueze should refrain from criticizing our Men on Ground, fund them, and seek peace with them—your perspective is uninformed. You’re unaware of what prompted Commander Gentle De-Yahoo’s actions. If you don’t have the facts, why not remain silent or inquire about what truly transpired?
This pattern of reaction mirrors what happened part year December, 2024 when Mr. Success Nweke Chikaodili was suspended by Dr. Ngozi Orabueze. Many of you erupted in outrage, attacking Dr Ngozi Orabueze and declaring Success untouchable, insisting he shouldn’t face suspension. Yet, you didn’t bother to investigate the reasons behind it. Had you learned what Success did, some might have demanded his expulsion—or even execution—since sabotage is the gravest offense in this struggle..
Let me reveal a harsh truth: if you knew the extent of Mr. Success’s embezzlement, you’d be furious. He and others treated this struggle as a personal cash cow. As a procurement officer for our Men on Ground, Success was entrusted with delivering funds to them. Instead, he skimmed a percentage for himself, passed a portion to Igwe Butuzor and others—who took their own cuts—leaving the remaining fighters with meager scraps. Recall the video Ada Diollamma posted, showing our men drinking garri despite the funds allocated to them. That was part of the direct result of Mr. Success’s sabotage. Yet, when his suspension was announced, many of you attacked DPM without asking what he had done.
As I write this, Mr. Success can no longer reach our Men on Ground. After his economic sabotage was exposed, he fled Nigeria, fearing retribution. His only remaining informant is Commander Holy Ghost ( Owowo Etim), a brother to Sunny Akparawa of SUNNY MEDIA —a figure I’ll address later.
Now, let’s turn to Commander Gentle De-Yahoo, who claims Dr. Ngozi Orabueze never sent funds to them. It baffles me that some of you swallowed this falsehood without question. Gentle, the self-proclaimed “onye eziokwu” (truthful one), even alleged that Dr. Orabueze is collaborating with Catapila. How naive can you be? I understand why Gentle is upset and resorted to such pitiful lies. What if I presented payment receipts proving millions were recently wired to them? Would you still condemn Orabueze?
