God's Morning guys.

Lemme share something with you guys; if you really want to improve so fast on the drums and music generally, watch more of drum clinics or workshops, that is where drummers are talking about their technique and how they got to the level they are in. It is in their statements that you can grab what makes them professionals.

Watch drum solos and performances but only for specific reasons; to be motivated and to learn. Watch more of your own performances instead. Always remember, when you want to improve, go to the basics of that thing you want to practice: your left and your right should be equal, not one should be stronger. I'm referring to both your hands and feet: work on your legs also.

Advice to drummers in the house:
Find out your weaknesses that you yourself have noticed while playing and the ones that people have complained about even if those people don't look like they know music.

Wok on them, reduce and finally kill those weaknesses.

And stop telling yourself that this particular thing is not for me or is not my thing, learn it when you have the chance. People these days are looking for all-round drummers.

Lastly, the Holy Spirit should be your source of boldness not the rehearsals you have done or practice you are doing. Always look up to Him and thank Him.

Don't be too proud to ask for help from professionals or those who know that particular thing more than you do. Learn from them even if they ask you to pay a little money or buy them water.
You can't learn everything by yourself so don't mind them, learn under them for the meantime.
Don't forget to appreciate your bosses or those who somehow have helped you grow to where you are now.
