What is thermal Energy?

If you have a hot drink, how do you make it cold? Well, one way would be to add ice cubes, but how do ice cubes make the liquid in your drink cold? The answer becomes clear when you understand thermal energy, which is the energy that comes from heat. In fact, the word 'thermal' refers to heat, so you can think of thermal energy as heat energy.

*How Does Thermal Energy Work?*
Thermal energy is produced by the movement of molecules in an object. You see, all objects are made up of tiny particles called molecules. In cold things, like ice cubes, the molecules move very slowly. In hot things, like a hot drink, the molecules move very fast. The faster the molecules are moving inside an object, the hotter the object will be. So, when you put ice cubes into your hot drink, they absorb the heat energy from the drink, which melts the ice and cools the drink.

*What Is Menstruation?*
Menstruation, or a menstrual period, is the periodic shedding of the lining of a woman's uterus. It is one of the phases of the menstrual cycle. The uterine lining breaks down into a bloody substance. It then passes down through the cervix and exits through the va**na. The process usually lasts from three to five days. The amount of menstrual blood can vary from period to period and from woman to woman.

*Why Is it Necessary?*
The uterus is the womb that will cradle a fetus(baby) as it grows. A fertilized egg will implant here, and it is important for the uterus to have a nice fresh supply of nutrients and goodies to help the egg during early development. But, the uterine lining has an expiration date. If the woman does not become pregnant, then the lining is cleared out during menstruation so that a fresh one can be built.

Groups of organ systems work together to make complete, functional organisms, like us! There are 11 major organ systems in the human body, which include the circulatory, respiratory, digestive, excretory, nervous and endocrine systems. The immune, integumentary, skeletal, muscle and reproductive systems are also part of the human body.

COMPREHENSION

Sometimes a person attempt to read fast and *comprehend* much may be faced with a number of problems, some of these *obstacles* can can be traced to the readers own habits developed over the years. Others are however no fault of the reader but can be traced to natural causes. In this passage we will consider some of such natural factors.
First consider a person whose level of natural intelligence is *lamentably* low, intelligence is God's given and sometimes there is very little, a person can do to improve his level of intelligence.
So when there's a child with a low level of intelligence, he/she will normally be slow in learning to read and would read slowly and poorly.
Nervous disorder also affect one's reading ability. When a person has brain damage, he/she will have problem in his I intellectual activities including his reading performance.
Further more children develop at different rates, some develop at a slower rate than others. If a child is pushed into a reading programme before he reaches the appropriate level of development, failure might be expected. However, such a child may be still catch up when he reaches the right age.
W hole it has not been conclusively *established* there is evidence to suggest that eye defects may *adversely* affect the reading ability of both good and poor reader fo r persons with bad eyes suffer considerable strain when reading and it is this strain that discourages a liking for reading. This hinders constant practice and results in poor reading performance.
Finally children who have failed in learning to read and write often show signs of emotional problems, such as *anxiety, fear, truancy, restlessness, nail-biting* etc

*Population Data:* this is also called population statistics , is the use of statistics to analyze characteristics or changes to a population. *Population Census* in the other hand is the official head count of people in a country, children, boys, girls, men, and women, including the disabled, by the government in a country at a given period of time.
