Why Heart Feels Empty
"I pray, but I feel nothing. I fast, yet I’m still restless. Why does my heart feel empty?"
Sometimes the soul is hungry, but we feed it with everything except what it truly needs — connection with its Creator.
An empty heart is not always a sign of sin, but often a reminder that we’ve drifted too far from Allah ﷻ.
It could mean:
We’ve neglected meaningful dhikr.
Our prayers became motions, not conversations.
We forgot to open the Qur’an with the heart, not just the eyes.
🌿 But the good news? Allah is always near.
Even if you’ve been distant for years, one sincere sajdah can bring you closer than you’ve ever been.

Tonight, pause. Make a quiet sujūd. Say “Ya Allah, bring me back.”
He will and your heart will feel whole again.
