The Advocate College of Health Sciences and Technology Owo recently embarked on a significant advocacy visit to His Imperial Majesty Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye, the Olowo of Owo. This visit underscores the institution's commitment to fostering collaborative efforts in advancing public health. The team sought the royal blessing, shared the college's vision and mission, and explored potential support for future initiatives aimed at combating epidemics, zoonotic diseases, and neglected tropical diseases in Owo Local Government Area. Additionally, the college aims to leverage this partnership to enhance research endeavors that will promote academic excellence.

The Kabiyesi warmly received the team and expressed his aspirations for the greatness of the Owo Kingdom, particularly in healthcare education. He advised the college to remain focused, sincere, courageous, and determined in its pursuits. Furthermore, the team paid a courtesy visit to the League of Imams at the Owo Central Mosque, strengthening interfaith collaboration.

Advocacy is key to achieving success in community matters, which is why Advocate College of Health Sciences and Technology continues to engage with community stakeholders for positive outcomes. Today, the college team visited the Owo Local Government Chairman's office, Hon Tope Omolayo and the Chairman of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS).

The team, led by College Provost, Hon. Olupona Joseph Ojo and Coordinating Consultant Hon. Osunmuyiwa Ojo Joseph, presented the institution's vision, mission, and objectives to the chairmen. Both chairmen were impressed and supportive in responses.

The Owo Local Government Chairman praised the team for their initiative and assured them of his support. The NAPPS Chairman, noting the dream emanated from one of their own, Hon. Olupona Joseph Ojo, expressed confidence in the institution's potential benefits for Owo, the state, and the nation. He advised the college to develop informed policies for growth and encouraged his staff to explore the healthcare education opportunities.
