Beyond the classroom, our students are learning the value of service, responsibility, and community engagement.
Students of The Heritage College, Owo participating in a community sanitation outreach, dedicating their time and energy to helping keep our environment clean and healthy. Through teamwork and a shared sense of purpose, they demonstrated that true leadership is not only about academic excellence but also about making a positive impact in society.

Theory without practice is just knowledge waiting to be useful.
That is why at THCoE, our students are not kept in lecture halls until their final year before they see the inside of a real classroom.
Field/lab-embedded professional development is part of our training from day one. Our students learn in real schools, with real children, facing real teaching challenges, and then they bring those experiences back to reflect, discuss, and grow.
This is what produces teachers who hit the ground running.

Teaching is not a performance. It is a practice.
Great teachers reflect. They look back at every lesson and ask: What worked? What did not? What will I do differently tomorrow?
At The Heritage College of Education, we train our students to build this reflective habit from day one, so that when they graduate, continuous improvement is not something they are told to do. It is something they already do naturally.
This is what sets a THCoE educator apart.
