The Heritage College of Education, Unaun, Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria, invites applications to fill academic and administrative positions.

The Heritage College of Education (THCoE), located in Unaun, Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria, is affiliated with Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, for training in 22 Bachelor's degree programmes and PGDE in education. It is also accredited by the National Commission for Colleges of Education to award the NCE.

THCoE is dedicated to producing competent, professional educators equipped to meet the demands of modern classrooms. We seek applications from committed and dedicated individuals with ambition to train outstanding educators.

A. ACADEMIC POSITIONS

1. Lecturer I
Requirements:
*PhD in the relevant discipline with 2 years of cognate experience.
*M.Ed. in the relevant discipline with 6 years of cognate experience. Individuals with M.Ed will commit to starting a PhD programme within 2 years of employment.
*Evidence of scholarly publications will be an added advantage.

2. Lecturer II
Requirements:
*Ph.D. in relevant discipline with 1 year of cognate experience
*M.Ed in relevant discipline with 4 years of cognate experience. M.Ed will commit to starting a PhD programme within 2 years of employment.
*Evidence of research and academic publications will be an added advantage.

3. Assistant Lecturer/Graduate Assistant Training Fellowship (ALT Fellow) at the Adekunle Ajasin University
Requirements:
*Assistant Lecturer Training Fellow (ALT Fellow) must possess M.Ed in a relevant discipline with a GPA that qualifies for PhD admission into Adekunle Ajasin University.
*Graduate Assistant Training Fellow (G*T Fellow) must possess a bachelor’s degree in education or a PGDE with at least a Second Lower degree that qualifies for admission to M.Ed. admission into Adekunle Ajasin University.
*Fellows must demonstrate a commitment to teaching, research, and community service to develop future educators.
*ALT/G*T Fellows will combine PhD/M. Ed programme training with a lecturership position at THCoE.

2. ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS
a) The Registry
1. Senior Assistant Registrar
*Bachelor's degree or HND in Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Humanities or related discipline.
*Minimum of three (3) years' relevant administrative experience in a tertiary institution.
*An advanced degree and membership of a relevant professional body will be an advantage.

2. Assistant Registrar I
*Bachelor's degree or HND in Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Humanities or related discipline.
*Minimum of two (2) years' relevant administrative experience in a tertiary institution.
*Membership of a relevant professional body will be an advantage.

3. Assistant Registrar II
*Bachelor's degree or HND in Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Humanities or related discipline.

4. Administrative Officer
*OND or Diploma in Administration or related discipline.
*Excellent communication and organizational skills.

5. Security Officer
*Minimum of SSCE.
*Prior experience in security services, military or paramilitary organisations will be an added advantage.
*Physically fit with good character and communication skills.

6. Driver
*Minimum of SSCE.
*Valid driver's licence.
*At least five (5) years' driving experience with a good knowledge of road safety regulations.

b) The Bursary:
1. Accountant I
*Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
*Professional qualification (ICAN, ANAN, ACCA or equivalent) will be a significant advantage.
*Minimum of two (2) years' experience in accounting or financial management.

2. Accountant II
*Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
*Professional qualification (ICAN, ANAN, ACCA or equivalent) are added advantage.

3. Accountant III
*Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
*Professional qualification (ICAN, ANAN, ACCA or equivalent) is an added advantage.

4. Assistant Accountant
*OND or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
*Knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting.

c) The College Library
1. Librarian I
*Bachelor's or HND in Library and Information Science (LIS) or related discipline.
*Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience.
*Registration with the Librarians' Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN) will be an added advantage.

2. Librarian II
*Bachelor's or HND in Library and Information Science (LIS) or related discipline.
*Minimum of one (1) years' relevant experience.

3. Librarian III
*Bachelor's or HND in Library and Information Science (LIS) or related discipline.

4. Library Assistant
*OND or Diploma in Library and Information Science (LIS) or related discipline.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should:
*Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Academic positions must be committed to ethical learning and excellent self-evaluation for teaching, research, and community service.
*Be proficient in the use of ICT and modern teaching methodologies.
*Demonstrate integrity, professionalism and commitment to institutional excellence.
*Possess NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate where applicable.
