Here are the things you should know today while preparing for camp

1. No NERD clearance slip, no camp registration. Reach out now to get yours.

2. All PCM that received call up number will be deployed to camp. No call up number, no deployment.

3. Call up letter will be out on latest on Monday, 3rd of August 2026.

4. Ensure your statement of result or Certificate is valid with accurate *Date of Graduation*.

5. Your name on your statement of result or Certificate should be same spelling as the one on your dashboard right now. Arrangement of name does not matter.

6. Continue to monitor your dashboard if you haven't seen your call up number. NYSC has a history of releasing call up numbers bit by bit.

7. Don’t make mistake of going to camp with expired, forged or edited statements of result or certificates, you won’t be admitted into the camp if caught. And you may be disciplined.

8. You can travel to camp on 4th even though camp opens officially on 5th, you will be allowed into the camp. It will help you arrange yourself before time.

9. If you want to go to camp with your belongings so you don’t travel back home after camp to pick them, you can take your belongings along and it will be kept in safety for you till camp closes, this will cut your travel inconvenience and expenses a lot.

10. Your canp documents should be printed on colored inks which you make black and white photocopies. Ensure the printing is clear to read.

11. If your addendum is not out yet, do not panic, it will be out once your call up letter is out.

12. You can print and sign your green card anytime you want, it could be now or when your call up letter is out which is best advised.

13. Regardless of the necessary things you need for camp, registration in camp is the gateway to starting NYSC. And to register, you need your documents. Ensure you have complete, accurate and precised documents to avoid being sent back home.

🚨ANNOUNCEMENT:-

It has been noted that students' can no longer access the NERD onboarding portal due to high level of enrollment.

However, it has now been made easy for all applicants to go through the NERD clearance application by providing *accredited NERD Digital Service Centres (NDSCs)*.

All applicants are therefore advised to visit accredited centres closest to them for their NERD clearance application.

Below is the link to access the accredited centres:- https://esmat.ned.gov.ng/ai/lookup_nerd_digital_service_centre_eco.php

When you click on the link, select your State and LGA of residence to lookup accredited centres closest to you and proceed with the process.
