"BEYOND THE STANDARD OF THE SCHOOL, QUICKLY CHECK OUT FOR THESE FOUR QUALITIES IN THE CLASS TEACHER OF YOUR CHILD!"

Many times as parents, we are so concerned about the standard and services offered by a school...

That we forget something very important that will make or break any child.

Schools do not really teach or educate a child.

A class teacher does.

A good teacher can cover up for a bad school but a good school can never cover up for a bad teacher.

I know that these days, many schools try to limit interactions between parents and teachers.

But as much as you can, you need to get very close to your child's teacher.

And as you do, quickly look out for these four important qualities.

1. PATIENCE LEVEL: Research has shown that less than 3 out of 10 pupils fully understands a topic in the first few moments of its introduction.

You need a class teacher that is patient enough to go back and explain again and again. Teaching won't work without a lot of patience.

2. PASSION LEVEL: I'm really sorry for people that get into the teaching profession for quick cash and instant results.

Excellent results take a lot of time and commitment. If the passion is not there, a teacher will not give your child the extra time and effort.

3. MATHEMATICAL SOUNDNESS: Many teachers struggle with mathematics both in interviews and in class. This is not good. I believe that it is something that can be worked on with a little effort and time.

A class teacher that is good at mathematics greatly improves your child's overall academic performance.

4. SPIRITUAL SOUNDNESS: I am very big on a person's aura. A teacher should show up to work daily happy, not sad or slouching.

A class teacher should be able to self-regulate & SELF-ENCOURAGE as the journey gets tough. These are functions of sound spirituality. People carry atmospheres about.

I would rather have a teacher that prays and is spiritually sound handling my child. What do you think?

Some call it, 'being in the zone.'

Others call it grace.

Yet, many more others that see it in a child call it genius or super-intelligence.

I will tell you what it really is by telling you a story of something that happened today.

Before I do that, you must understand this one important thing:

When Bishop David Oyedepo or Pastor Austin-Chris Chinonso preaches a powerful message that inspires and blesses millions...

You may call it grace but I call it years and years of diligent practice.

When Cristiano Ronaldo or Michael Jordan plays football or basketball skillfully, you may call it being in the zone.

I simply call it years and years of hard, gruelling practice everyday.

And from my years of experience working as a maths teacher, many so-called smart children that show great intelligence in mathematics are not necessarily gifted with brilliance.

They simply have a system in place that helps them practice everyday.

Yes, EVERY DAY.

Now, back to the interesting story that I wanted to tell you...

Malcolm Gladwell in his brilliant book titled, OUTLIERS, tells us that for someone to be considered an expert in anything...

They must have spent over 10,000 hours doing that thing.

Intelligence is not rocket science.

There is nothing mysterious about brilliance.

The magic is really in the DAILY PRACTICE.

You will express excellently what you practice daily over time.

Intelligence can be replicated again and again with practice.

Brilliance can be reproduced in many other school children with daily practice.

DAILY PRACTICE is the big secret.

Give me a child that people have called a dullard in mathematics and in 1-3 months, I will return a math genius to you.

Success in mathematics, like any other thing in life, is about the basics.

This became so clear to me as I worked with a class of Basic 5 pupils in Stem Of Jesse Academy, Owerri yesterday.

You see, to understand geometry well, you must first study shapes.

To know algebra, you need to understand how the four arithmetic operations (+-×÷) are entangled in a romantic love story.

And to figure out calculus, you really must understand change and how things change moving forward and backward.

You shouldn't just jump into geometry or algebra or calculus like that...

Nobody climbs a mountain by dropping from the sky above.

The journey to level 100 begins from level 1.

So, to understand what is happening at level 100, it is important to begin at level 1.

This is true about mathematics and how you can conquer your fear in it.

It is also true about life.

In my work as a Mathematics Instructor, I always work with the assumption that if the foundation is solid, the results will be splendid.

When a student, young or old, struggles in mathematics, I automatically know that the foundational blocks are missing.

Anywhere you find someone doing well in mathematics, check well:

The foundation is solid.

There are really no dumb or dull people in mathematics.

Only those with a teacher that didn't ground them well in the basics.

So, if you or anyone you know will excel in mathematics, there has to be a return to the basics.

If you will deal with that fear of mathematics, you have to first find a mathematics teacher that will thoroughly expose you to the basics until you are grounded.

It is time to go back to the basics of mathematics.

You do not have to struggle anymore.

"I WAS NEARLY EMBARRASSED TODAY BUT WHAT I GOT FROM IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE FOREVER!"

Today convinced me that success was designed only for prepared people.

I went for a presentation today and a man nearly embarrassed me.

At least, he thought he could.

Many people do not realise that it is not enough to WANT people to buy what you sell.

Even if they have the money, you must know how to convince them first.

And this won't be possible until you are convinced enough about what you're selling.

Due to my solid reputation as an Abacus Mental Mathematics Instructor in Owerri...

Coupled with a healthy demand for Abacus Mental Mathematics, I took it for granted that the schools I reach out to won't ask too many questions.

UNTIL TODAY...

He is a doctor, fair, tall with an intimidating height and he had smart, searching eyes.

After I stepped into his office, we exchanged pleasantries and I explained the purpose of my visit.

What he said next took me by surprise.

He said, "Mr. Bright, show me the usefulness of Abacus Mental Mathematics and why my school should begin this program..."

Even though I didn't expect that, I came prepared.

He listened with careful attention as I spoke with wild gesticulations and asked really smart questions here and there.

When I was done, he smiled for the first time and said:

1. I like your confidence, young man.

2. I can see that this will really help the children in my school in the area of mathematics.

3. Give me your WhatsApp number so that we can continue this conversation online.

He stepped out to attend another meeting.

And as I made my way to another school, I suddenly understood the power of preparation.

Those that rule the world are people that prepare daily and thoroughly.

Nobody really knows when a life-changing opportunity will present itself.

When it comes to you, I hope that you will be prepared.

"A 4-STEP MEDITATION PLAN FOR SMART CHILDREN!"

This world is full of wonders.

And to be honest with you, you will find many of these wonders in my classroom.

Wonders in my class will never end.

I pray it never ends...

I recently discovered the wonder of meditation in my class.

And how it has been helping the children in my classroom.

Meditation has been helping them to focus better and remember faster.

It really works wonders.

I use four powerful meditation steps that you can also use at home or in school.

1. Correct Sitting Position.

2. Rhythmic Breathing Movement.

3. Shut Eyes.

4. Silence.

The children in my class added more flavour by teaching me different meditation postures.

Like the one I did in that picture.

It has been fun and the results have been a wonder to me recently.

Many children today struggle with so many activities and noise at home and in school.

It is so noisy out there for the children of today.

And exposure to too many gadgets hasn't helped at all.

A wise teacher must find a way to eliminate all the noise and put each child in a quiet, productive posture where they can do wonders.

Examinations will begin tomorrow.

We have been doing a lot of meditation lately.

I also taught them a special meditation technique to help them remember anything they forget during the examinations.

I expect their results at the end of the term to be a wonder.

Meditation is really a wonder.

The children in my class are wonderful.

And wonders will never end in my class. ❤️

"HOW A CLASS TEACHER CAN PRAY AND WIN THIS WEEK AND KEEP WINNING TILL THE END OF THIS SECOND TERM!"

Prayer for me as a class teacher is not something I do when all else fails.

No.

It is what I engage in together with everything that works.

Prayer secures the lives of the precious children that have been put under my care.

I have really seen prayer work for me in my classroom.

I have witnessed prayer mixed together with my various teaching techniques transforming a child that wasn't doing well to a child with enviable results.

I have also seen prayer hold me together on bad days at work.

I have seen prayer pick me up on days when I feel at the end of my rope as a teacher.

Prayer has really helped me.

Prayer is not something I do as an afterthought or because it is a good idea.

For me, prayer is the first tool in my arsenal as an effective teacher.

And it shows in my work.

I have seen impossible things happen as I teach.

I have seen so-called 'bad' or 'academically dull' children improve and show so much promise in my classroom.

Prayer is not my secret weapon at all.

It is my main, obvious machinery of effectiveness as a class teacher.

Prayer helps me see a child differently.

The work of teaching can be hard and tedious.

It is from prayer that I draw strength daily.

Prayer helps me everyday.

I always command my week with prayer.

I win each term with prayer.

Take this from me today.

As a teacher, if you will win and succeed, you will need to pray always.

Prayer should not be an afterthought or one nice thing that you are expected to do occasionally.

If the mathematics won't enter for example, find a corner and blast in tongues for one minute.

Step into your class and teach again.

It will enter and they will surely understand.

When prayer becomes everything for you as a teacher, you will win everyday.

NO CHILD IS AN olodo or dullard:

1. Go on your knees daily and pray words of faith over that child.

2. Get that child a good private lesson teacher.

3. Every day, morning & night, place your hand on your child's head and speak POSITIVE WORDS and let him/her hear you loudly and clearly as you do so. ❤️❤️
