The 4th Matriculation Ceremony of the Claritian University of Nigeria, Nekede, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria on the 2nd of May, 2025..
The librarian,Associate Professor Ngozi Azubogu, gave an award to the ten (10) Best students who consciously use the university library for reading, study and research.
The students are drawn from different departments. This is a yearly incentive done by the library to the fresh students on their Matriculation day.
The students receive the Vice Chancellor 's personal Hand shake.
This exercise is done through careful, pains-taken observation of the students who use the library. The reason behind this incentive is to encourage the students to make use of the library for their studies and research purposes.
As on graduation, they will be given their certificate based on the fact that they have been found worthy in character and leaning.
Congratulations to CUN 2024/2025 students.

CUN STUDENTS WRITE FIRST SEMESTER EXAMINATION.

Globally, continuous assessment tests and examination remain a critical component of learning and studentship. This is because it is through such an assessment that students' performance, both their strengths and weaknesses are known.

As an international University that maintains best practices in teaching and learning, Claretian University of Nigeria Nekede, Owerri, has succeeded in demystifying examination phobia amongst her students. In the last few weeks, CUN students have been writing their First Semester examination for the 2024/25 Academic Session.

CUN's method of demystifying examination amongst her students is neither magical nor mysterious; rather, a concerted effort of her eminently qualified lecturers who teach these students with hands-on techniques, embellished with the State of the Art facilities and a conducive and friendly teaching and learning environment.

Again, the entire staff and management of the University under the able leadership of the Vice Chancellor, Very Rev. Fr. Professor Wenceslous Madu, offer every student an equal opportunity and sense of belonging while prioritizing their academic needs.

These and many more reasons give CUN students the needed mental balance to absorb the seemingly harsh realities of teaching and learning. As these students conclude their examinations, in order to commence the second semester, the Management of the University wishes them good luck.
