2026 WAEC PERFORMANCE REPORT & CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE

The release of the 2026 West African Examinations Council (WAEC) results for school candidates provides an important opportunity to reflect on the academic journey of our learners, appreciate the dedication of our staff and parents, and celebrate the impressive achievement of the Pearlville School Class of 2026 amidst the many challenges.

The 2026 WAEC examination was widely regarded as a demanding academic exercise.
It is therefore important to recognise that many candidates across the examination cohort faced significant difficulties in this year's examination, with some candidates recording performances far below their expectations.

Yet, in the midst of these challenges, Pearlville School stood out.

Our learners demonstrated remarkable personal academic strength, recording impressive A's and B's across their subjects and once again affirming Pearlville School's tradition of excellence in academic performance.

PEARLVILLE SCHOOL REWARDS STAFF WITH 10 YEAR LONG SERVICE AWARDS/GIFTS

During the 2026 Graduation Ceremony, the Management of Pearlville School, as is customary to the school, rewarded four teachers with brand new gas cookers for their 10 years of service to the school. Pearlville School is one of the very very few schools that reward staff loyalty and longevity.

In an age and a profession where staff mobility is very high, with teachers continually moving from one school to another every year and term, it has become increasingly difficult to see teachers staying in a school beyond 5 years. Yet Pearlville School is one school that has a reputation for teacher stability and the reasons are not far-fetched:

The management “sees” her staff
Every staff understands that he/she is a partner in the growth and development of the school

COURTESY VISIT TO THE VICE CHANCELLOR OF FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, OWERRI, PROF. I.N.S. DOZIE

On Wednesday, July 22, 2026, Pearlville School learners paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of FUTO, Prof. I.N.S. Dozie, who is one of our long-term school parents.

The students were very warmly welcomed by the Vice Chancellor. In his very life and career impacting welcome address, the VC thanked the school for providing a progressive, functional, holistic, safe and globally competitive academic environment for learning excellence. He enjoined the students to leverage on the academic, social, cultural, physical and religious advantages of the school to create progressive and successful pathways for success. He advised the learners to maintain a habit of excellence, leverage on the advantages of the varied population diversity, manage their time well, have great visions, goals and strategies and amongst all, hold unto God in all that they do.

The Head of Students thanked the VC for the wonderful reception and the great works he is doing in the university, emphasizing that FUTO remains the first choice for students who are looking for quality, globally comparative and competitive education. Indeed, the visit was insightful and impactful.

We were pleased to announce the launch of The Bible Adventure during our graduation ceremony by our very own facilitator, Mr. Benjamin Agboje!

The Bible Adventure is an engaging, age-appropriate guide that brings the Bible to life for teenagers through relatable storytelling, vivid illustrations, and practical life lessons, helping them discover God's Word and apply it to everyday life.

The goal is to build biblical knowledge, strengthen character, and spark a lifelong love for God’s Word, without making it feel like “just another lesson.”
