STUDENTS, PLEASE STOP RELYING ON AI TO WRITE YOUR EXAM ANSWERS! 🚨
As someone involved in marking examination scripts, I have observed a growing dependence on AI-generated answers. The problem is that many students are copying answers without truly understanding the questions or the subjects they are being examined on.
AI is a powerful learning tool, but it cannot replace your preparation, understanding and ability to think for yourself.
In an examination, what matters is what you know, understand and can communicate on your own.
If you are preparing for WAEC, NECO, JAMB or any other examination:
📌 Study your notes and textbooks.
📌 Practise past questions.
📌 Understand the topics instead of memorising answers.
📌 Use AI to explain difficult concepts—not to do all the thinking for you.
📌 Always develop the confidence to answer questions in your own words.
Your examination result should reflect your knowledge, not your ability to copy an AI-generated response.
Parents and teachers also have an important role to play: let's teach students how to use technology responsibly while ensuring that genuine learning remains the priority.
🎓 Use AI to learn. Don't let AI learn for you.
