Meet our esteemed senior, Miss Erege Ngozi Susan.

Do you know?
During her secondary school days, she was contemplating which course to study in a higher institution.

Her grandpa, of blessed memory, advised her to study Medicine and Surgery, promising to support her through school. However, she laughed at his suggestion, as she saw no viable business he was engaged in that could sustain her studies in such a demanding field.

She wasn’t particularly strong in Chemistry but excelled in most Arts subjects. Her Account Teacher suggested she study Banking and Finance, but she declined, even though she never missed the teacher’s classes.

She had a deep love for writing. Curious about what course a writer could study, she asked her uncle, who listed several options. She made her choice and wrote her first JAMB exam, but she didn’t get the course she applied for. Undeterred, she sat for JAMB a second time and finally secured admission into her desired course—without regrets.

Her advice to others is simply this: pursue what you know you can do. Don't choose a course or career just because your favourite person is doing it or because someone told you to. Instead, choose something you can excel in and complete with ease.
