Here's what Amarachukwu Roseline Ogbu has to say about FeminiTech 1.0👇

"I wanted to share my experience after applying online for the training. It truly was an amazing journey. The tutors were outstanding, providing detailed explanations that I had never come across before. Colors, something that used to baffle me, are now crystal clear in my understanding. The struggles I faced with colors are now a thing of the past, and I will always remember this transformation.

Every moment of the training was enjoyable and enriching, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for this invaluable opportunity. The team did an exceptional job in guiding us through the learning process.

As a result of this training, I've been confidently working on designing projects, even assisting a friend with their design. It's true that practice leads to improvement, and I've been dedicating time to personal projects to enhance my design skills and research techniques. If anyone needs assistance with their projects, I'm more than willing to help.

I'm also excited to announce that I'll be sharing my work on various social media platforms, allowing others to see my progress and journey.
While my primary focus remains on healthcare products, I'm open to exploring other niches as well. You never know where destiny might lead, and I'm excited to embrace new opportunities that come my way.

After the successful Product Design course here's what Prisca Ochemba has to say about the course

'I'm thrilled to share my journey in the world of product design. The passion and curiosity I've always had for this field were met with uncertainty about where to start and who to learn from.

When I received the news of my selection as a participant in Cohort 2 of the CREALLO Product Design class, along with a scholarship from the Achu Educational Foundation, I was overjoyed. This scholarship marked a pivotal moment in my tech journey, igniting my determination to excel in the field. I must express my deep gratitude to the Achu Educational Foundation for making this possible.

My time studying Product Design at Crealllo was truly enlightening. The journey was marked by significant growth and a strong sense of belonging. Each learning process was invaluable, and I highly appreciated the hands-on approach of the program. We were guided from the basics of design to practical application in real-world projects. I remember designing a landing page for the Achu Educational Foundation and tackling various other projects.

The emphasis on user-centered design was a game-changer for me, enhancing my design skills. Access to top-notch learning resources and cutting-edge design tools enriched my experience further. The mentorship provided by experienced tutors like Apfelsaft, Mercy Eneh, and Melvina was priceless. They patiently answered every question, no matter how basic it seemed.

In summary, the program's blend of practicality, comprehensive guidance, and mentorship played a pivotal role in shaping my skills as a Product Designer. Every step of the learning process held immense value and enlightenment for me.

Participating in the scholarship program was transformative. It reshaped my perspective on Product Design, equipping me with a deep understanding of design principles, user-centered methodologies, and the intricate interplay between aesthetics and functionality. Now, I perceive product design as a potent tool for solving real-world challenges and enhancing user experiences.

As I progress toward my career goals, I'm excited to apply my product design skills to create innovative and user-centric solutions. Whether it's crafting visually appealing interfaces, designing tangible products, or enhancing digital experiences by addressing user pain points, I'm dedicated to producing designs that genuinely make lives better.

Thank You Achu Education Foundation'

Another beautiful Testimonial from a beneficiary of FEMINITECH 1.0

See what she has to say 👇

Maduabuchi Blessing Chinaza -
'Prior to being accepted into the ACHU Foundation scholarship, I was on a self-learning path for product design. I was literally learning in circles, evident from my numerous notes on design concepts I had learned and relearned, yet lacking a single piece of work to validate my knowledge (it was a case of being able to explain theory, but with no evidence to support it). The ACHU Foundation scholarship granted me access to learn more effectively through Crealllo, an opportunity I doubted I could afford otherwise. This opportunity provided by ACHU had a significant impact on my product design journey, as it helped me break out of the tutorial cycle I was clearly trapped in and encouraged me to undertake practical projects. Additionally, it offered me a roadmap for self-taught designers to learn design.

On the very first day of class, I learned about the breakdown of UI and UX components, which felt like a roadmap for mastering product design. This initial lesson was extremely valuable to me. The segmentation of product design into UI, UX, and BUSINESS components was truly priceless. Progressing further, the class taught by Miss Eneh about colors was exceptional. One valuable trick I acquired was observing the mixology (color combinations) in nature and my surroundings—ranging from trees and building colors to plants and even soil shades! This insight was a remarkable takeaway. The class was engaging and enlightening.

Among all of Sir Remy's classes, the one on grids stood out to me. Before learning from him, I didn't comprehend how much alignment contributed to effective design. The pinnacle of the program for me was when we began redesigning various items. Starting from the redesigned landing page to embarking on my very first project, the journey with Crealllo was undeniably thrilling.'

Here's another beautiful testimony and work of one of our student Kosisochukwu Okechukwu Silvia

'Receiving a scholarship from Achu Foundation helped me to set better design goals for myself. I was able to understand how color, icons, and text can bring my ideas into reality. It was a life-changing experience.

I got to work with women from all over Nigeria in finding solutions to design problems. An intriguing aspect of the program was learning about website design and landing pages. Before I started the program, I wanted more of mobile designs. But my interest spiked more on website designs and how to better structure them.

With the skills I have acquired, I want to be able to pursue a full-time career in product design, starting from a design intern or an entry-level designer, in order to sharpen my design skills. The Achu Foundation's support and guidance have been instrumental in this transformative journey. I extend my deepest gratitude for this opportunity to grow and contribute to the world of design.'

We are happy to see that FeminiTech impacted positively into these ladies lives❤️

Hey woman.

Thank you so much for not giving up in the face of all the challenges that come with being human and, a woman. We could not possibly mention them all, they are longer than a grocery list and we just can't.
Yes. The need to support our dreams, families, and the entire world, has led to an interesting diversity in today's women's lexicon of career.

The tech or digital space for instance, one of the fast rising industries of relevance in the globe, which has impacted billions of lives, is continually making space for women interested in the field. Actually, this field though lucrative and vast, could easily pass as one of the most inclusive career fields of the century.
It is therefore, no wonder that this year's theme for the International Women's Day by the UN, is, *DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality*.

The AEF, always passionate about education for productivity as usual, is not left behind in this year's cause for uplifting the female tribe and getting them equipped for opportunities that would foster equity.
This year, the AEF, is focused on training young women interested in the areas of Information Technology (IT) and fashion graphic design.

Details on how to get on board this trainings will be shared soon, if you promise to keep checking on this page.

Again, we wish you an impactful and amazing women's day, today.

Achu Educational Foundation (AEF)

The average Nigerian youth from childhood is faced with the challenge of changing and squeezing their career dreams to suit the available resources offered them by their immediate environment. To worsen the case, not every child is opportune to the choice of change. Some never make it far enough to even choose mediocrity, they get stuck in lowliness and beneath the chain.

With the siege on the Nigerian education sector caused by numerous factors, the AEF has dedicated its time and resources towards tackling one of the major factors and dream halter- FINANCE. Thus, the motivation behind several financially sponsored programs for young persons under different learning categories in 2022.

Our major scholarship impact in 2022, took place in St Marks International Nursery and Primary School, Owerri, Imo state, Nigeria, with twenty(20) beneficiaries.
In addition, secondary school students of different schools who were enrolled in school with their registration and school fees well catered for by the foundation.

On the other hand, we partnered with well meaning foundations and organization with similar interests to fund some of their programs as a way of impacting meaningfully, the youths of the nation. Some of these partners include, Creative Health and Humanitarian Foundation-CHHF, Boys Champions, The female media network , amongst others. So many activities were jointly created with these organizations in 2022.

This year, we go again.

We have chosen another 20 beneficiaries from St. Mark’s International Nursery and Primary school for our scholarship for the 2022/23 academic year.

We look forward to sponsoring more students in need of financial assistance in 2023, as much as we can.

This year, we believe it is not enough to pity and post pictures of our indigent neighbours, but more importantly, we shall take a bold step towards empowering them and funding their dreams, to the best of our capacity.

Happy New Year to you and yours.
