It's a very great pleasure for me, as the chairman (board of patrons), to extend to you the warm welcome on behalf of this awesome gathering.

You have many problems to consider. A glance at your agenda is sufficient to indicate the range. You have not only a heavy task but a great responsibility. Many eyes are upon you today.

VOTE OF THANKS PRESENTED BY THE VICE PRESIDENT OF GNOSA SET 2005

I heartily thank our very independent Electoral Committee for conducting a credible election that is climaxed by the swearing in of the President and Vice President of our noble association.

I want to also appreciate our Chairman Board of Patrons, Mr. Ocheakiti Inalegwu Kenneth (JP) for creating time to handle the swearing in ceremony of the 2 officials of the association, may God bless you for always listening to us sir.

I wan to in a very special way appreciate the Congress for availing themselves for the swearing in ceremony. As I have taken Oath of office, I promise to support the President and other Excos to achieve the aims and objectives of the association. We ask for your maximum support as we pilot the affairs of the association.

INAUGURAL SPEECH PRESENTED BY THE PRESIDENT OF GNOSA SET 2005

I thank you all for your contribution and effort towards the growth and progress of the association.

I promise to give my best to make sure that the association is been taking to the next level.

I also thank the former President, Mr. Adeka Solomon for his work and effort in the last 30 months of his stewardship, I pray that God will crown your efforts with great reward in Jesus name, Amen.

I want to say sorry to any members of the association that the association did not meet up with, I promise you all that the association will carry everyone along this time.

To my fellow Excos, now is the time to rekindle the flames burning in the association when we all started, all hands must be on deck to reposition GNOSA Set 2005 and make it envious again. I will be patient with all of us but I will encourage us to be more selfless and dedicated to the activities of the association.

REPORT ON GNOSA SET 2005 VICE PRESIDENT ELECTION

Following the resignation of the President, the Vice President assumed the office of the President which gave room for the association to elect a new Vice President.

Members nominated Mrs. Abah Elizabeth Ene and Mr. Ijemere Hyacinth.

Election was held on Friday 23/06/2023 which saw the 2 candidates score 7 votes each. The election was declared inconclusive by the Electoral Committee and Wednesday 28/06/2023 was fix for a re-run.

After the Re-run election, the following votes were recorded;

MRS. ABAH ELIZABETH ENE - 14 Votes
MR. IJEMERE HYACINTH - 10 Votes.

Mrs. Abah Elizabeth Ene was declared the winner of the election by the Electoral Committee.

Swearing-in and Oath administration for the Office of the President and Vice President has been scheduled for Saturday 1/07/2023.

ANNOUNCEMENT

This is to announce to all members of GNOSA set 05 and the entire public that Snr. Solomon Adeka is no longer the president of GNOSA.

The former president resigned from his office on 11/06/2023.

He cited issues beyond his control and also unfavorable ground as the reasons for his resignation.

From henceforth, the Vice President, Snr Ejike Denise is now the acting president pending when the association will elect a new Vice President.

Snr Solomon Adeka remains a bonafide member of the association.

PRESIDENT'S INAUGURAL SPEECH

I want to thank the entire Congress for electing me back as her president for the second time. This I believe is not by mistake perhaps by virtue of faith.

The last administration that was governed by me was a successfully one to an extent, we had some turbulence that shook us and shaped us in some process.

But I want to assure us that this period of another chance will be a different one entirely, where mistakes were made, we will make correct, where ears were not listening, we will listen, and we aim at making GNOSA bigger.

But this can not happen by all the eloquence that is been poured out, we must as congress pour our all available support to this house and see it grow the way we desire.

The Executive Exco will be open to ideas, suggestions, opinions and correction from the congress as we tend to build a stronger, better and most formidable association.

I want to welcome you to a new face of GNOSA, where I want everyone to be for GNOSA as GNOSA is for us all. Thanks once again.

WELCOME ADDRESS FROM Great Nicho Old Students Association Otukpo - GNOSA, Set '05 PRESIDENT ON THE OCCASION OF HER 2022 LAST ONLINE MEETING

I want to welcome every one of us present here online and offline to this last ONLINE GENERAL MEETING for 2022. I want to thank God for His love, care and blessings showered on us all. If it has not been the Lord who has been on our side. Let His name be praised. My joy is that God has been sooo faithful towards us all. And as we deliberate and discuss today we pray that God will help us to be better people and help us achieve other strides in Jesus Holy Name. Amen. In today's meeting let's be able to say alot and have commendations and recommendations, many have to learn from my mistakes and that they won't fall to same issues. As we continue I welcome us all.

And knowing this season that we are in, I encourage us all to be part of this year's AGM, it promises to be at its peak of fun.
