*OPENING OF FHMS FOR EXISTING CHILDREN AND 2020/2021 NEW ADMISSIONS.*
In adherence to the public announcement of both FGN and Ogun State Government, all sections of our school will resume from COVID-19 break on 21st September, 2020 for 2020/2021 academic session.
It should be noted that the government had earlier announced that all pupils/students had been given automatic promotions to the next class and also automatic placements for primary 6 pupils into JSS 1 provided they had sat for the Common Entrance Examination on 12th September, 2020.
The hitherto JSS 3 students who have now been promoted to SSS 1 will write their Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in October, 2020.
In furtherance to FGN COVID-19 guidelines for reopening of schools, FHMS have been able to put in place and/or created enabling environment to observe necessary regulations as stipulated by government authorities.
We have taken necessary measures to meet the COVID-19 protocol for physical distancing, among other requirements.
The protocols include:
👉 We have trained and designated teachers/students as first line responders in the case of emergency.
👉 We make it compulsory for all teachers, guests and pupils/students(old enough) the use of face mask/shield .
👉 We make available the use of Infrared Red Thermometer for checking temperature at the point of entrance.
👉 We make available external hand washing facilities in addition to the existing ones.
👉 COVID 19 SENTINIZATION AWARENESS banner.
👉 We make available the use of alcohol based hand sanitizer for learners and staff.
👉 We are prepared to observe physical distancing of 2 metres.
👉 We have prepared to suspend any form of gathering like morning assembly, social/club and sport activities in the time being.
👉 We fumigated/decontaminated all our school environments.
👉 We have prepared to intensify efforts in observing hygienic environments.

Finally, our school opens 7.30am and closes 2.00pm prompt
Extra lesson/coaching are suspended temporarily.
We should carefully balance between life and livelihood by following steps we have adopted to reopening of our school, in ensuring safety of our wards while minimizing disruption in their education.
