There is a man who will pick up his phone to dial your number after a fight and say,

There is also that woman that even though there had been an argument, would still see a need to talk to you, and resolve things amicably.

Most men are inherently egocentric, but not with the women they love and value. When a man loves you, he is often altruistic with you, he throws away anything that may pose a threat to his relationship with you, and that includes ego. If you ever find this kind of man, appreciate him.

If you find a man who wholeheartedly apologizes when he's wrong.

If you find a woman who wholeheartedly apologizes when she's wrong.

If you find people who forgive.

If you find people who place your happiness before theirs.

If you ever find anyone who falls in these categories, congratulations, you're loved and valued, never abuse them.

If you find a partner who apologizes without claiming rights, hold them tight. Never take them for granted.

In a relay race, it is not just your performance that determines if you win. The performance of your teammates affect whether you succeed or fail. Marriage is a relay. Whether you succeed or fail in life is affected by who you marry. Never forget that!

Nobody, whether celebrity, or nonentity, has a perfect marriage. Some celebrity marriages still last after decades (an example is Denzel Washington’s marriages, which is still strong at 39 years), and nonentity marriages that last weeks. The key is in the attitude of the couple. It is not by their status!
