God has chosen us to be His vessel.
Therefore, we have to learn to trust in God’s selection. We have to learn to believe that God can bring us to perfection. God never gives up on anything halfway through.

He is the Alpha, and He is the Omega; He is the beginning and the end. Since He has chosen and initiated, will He not complete His work?

If God has chosen us, we have to learn to trust and commit ourselves into His hand. In God’s good time, He will bring us to perfection. Hence, if we know God’s selection, we can put ourselves in God’s bossom; we can cast ourselves upon Him and trust that He will bring us to the point where we will be pleasing to Him.

IF OUR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD IS SAGGING, everything else will eventually crumble. The way we establish this personal relationship with the Lord is not limited to praise, but I believe that praise is the way to begin this love relationship with God.

If we begin to bless the Lord, tell Him how much we love Him, and thank Him for what He’s done, I guarantee you God will minister His love back to us.

The Scripture admonishes us to bless the Lord, God is blessed by us expressing our love and worship and praise unto Him.

If you don’t have a real revelation of God’s love for you, or even if you do but you want more, just begin setting aside a special time each day to praise Him. I guarantee you’ll enter into a deeper level of intimacy with Him and the rest of your day will go a whole lot better!

". . . There are contentions (quarrels) among you."

Now I say this, that each of you says, “I am of Paul,” or “I am of Apollos,” or “I am of Cephas,” or “I am of Christ.”
Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?" (1 Corinthians 1:11-13).

Christians are not to follow preachers, but we must follow Christ. To follow preachers is to be "carnal" and to "walk as men" (1 Corinthians 3:1-6). We honor gospel preachers, but sometimes they go astray, or get lost along the way (2 Timothy 2 : 16-18).

Follow Jesus Christ who never goes wrong! One should follow a preacher only if he imitate Christ. (1 Corinthians 11:1).

Be on the lookout for those who make it their business to cause division. "Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.

For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple" (Romans 16:17-18).

It is the duty of Christian "to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." (Ephesians 4 : 3 -6). This work can be accomplished by practicing lowliness, meekness, longsuffering, bearing with one another in love (Ephesians 4 : 1-3). Without these traits, the unity of the Spirit cannot be achieved.

HOW TO REMAIN STRONG

For you to remain strong spiritually, you should do one thing.
That is start keeping COVENANT TIME with God. Choose a time you should be in God’s presence every day.

God’s presence is our shield, so go there every day. Go there not to ask for things, but to eat spiritual food, by studying and allowing Him teach you.
Get close to Jesus every day by keeping Covenant time this way.

Also ask Him to help you begin to hear His voice for yourself. We need to hear His voice for us to follow His leadings.

Praise God, He is able to keep you unto the end and no one can sn**ch you away from His hold.

Henceforth live by the Spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature for those who belong to Christ have crucified the sinful nature with all its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit therefore, let us keep in step with Him.

As a prisoner of the Lord, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Remember that He who has called you is holy, therefore be you also holy. ALWAYS RESIST the devil and he will flee from you. Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might, putting on the whole armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the forces of evil in the heavenly realms;

…Put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground…”Ephesians 6:1

The qualification for doing God’s Work does not lie in zeal, seminary study, or the love of souls; it rests on a person's being totally apprehended by God.

He needs men and women who themselves have experienced the death of the Cross.

Today, what God is looking for is people who have no confidence in themselves. They are people who have no self-reliance, or self-will, and therefore can wholly trust in Him (Phil.3:3).

God can only use people according to the measure that they are not trusting in themselves.

God will use only the might and power of the Holy Spirit to accomplish His Work. And this might and power is manifested only through the foolish and the weak (1 Corinthians 1:27-29; 15:42-43).

THE SECRET OF SUCCESS

The only secret of success I know is walking in line with the Word of God, and praying and listening to the Holy Spirit. Listen to what the Spirit of God says to do and then do it. Being obedient to what God ask you to do.

When you get down on your knees and find out for yourself what His plans are – because He will put His approval and His blessings on HIS PLANS – it works so much better. It will almost work like clockwork.

The reason many people never prosper and many never fulfill the call of God upon their lives is because they don't follow God’s plan — not only His plan spoken to their hearts by His Holy Spirit, but also His written plan, in the Bible.

When the light of God’s Words comes, it shows us God’s plan for each one of us.
You see, the entrance of God’s words gives light! The light of God’s Word reveals God’s plan for the individual believer and God’s plan for the Church!

The reason some Christians seem to be just partially blessed — blessed only in a limited measure — is because they're just partially walking in the light of what God has for them. Others refuse entirely to walk in the light.

SELF

What basically is self? Whatever man possess and is able to do without seeking, waiting and depending on God is self. In God’s eyes there is nothing more unclean than "self" it being the mother of all sins. Self is God's greatest enemy, because self always declares independence from Him. He therefore looks upon all self as extremely unclean, totally unacceptable and absolutely useless.

Although the Lord hates "self" so much, the attitude of believers towards it is quite different. They delight in depending on self, cherishing self, and glorying in self.
They are ignorant of their true self; and neither do they know how unclean and corrupt and weak the self is in God’s eyes. They lack the divine insight into the matter.

In short, they do not know themselves. If in such a situation they should make much progress, experiencing an increasing number of successes and victories, their self life will be nourished and grow bigger and it will thus become harder to deny. Each time they do a good deed, they drift a step further from the life of God. A little more power of their own means a little more distance away from the Holy Spirit. More success results in more glory to self, hence prolonging the evil life of self.

God would rather have the believers sin than do good: because the more they sin,the more they shall realize their undependability; the weaker they are, the more they shall see the vanity of self; and the more they fall, the clearer they shall perceive their helplessness and hopelessness. God would rather see believers sin at such a time in their walk because sinning will enable them to know themselves more thoroughly and to depend on the Lord.

God has no other aim than to lead you to the end of yourself that you may know yourself. This is thus the explanation for why, when sometimes you have struggled to overcome, you nevertheless have failed. Oh how you cried, you strove, you fought, you pursued, you prayed, you worked and labored,you employed all kinds of means to overcome sin and reach holiness; yet you ended up in defeat. Although at times you did experience a little victory, such victory was only temporary. You tried your best to sustain it, but it flew away like a bird.

You concluded that you were worse than all, and therefore you could not gain the victory. Such experiences find their meaning in the fact that God was leading you to know your own self. It was because you were not corrupt enough in your own eyes to win the victory. You ought to recognize that it is you yourself who cried, it was you who struggled and fought, it was you yourself who prayed and pursued, that it was you who worked and labored. You were the one active, and it was all for your own self.

How much do you really depend on God? Do you truly know yourself as irredeemable and are thus ready to rely on God? what is the motive for your struggling and pursuing anyway? Is it not for your own self? Yes, you seek to overcome sin and to strive at holiness; but for what? Is it not for the sake of giving you more joy, more glory, and more ground for boasting?
Unless you come to acknowledge your own weakness and deceitfulness, you will continue to fail and fall until you recognize that you are powerless and deserve no honor.

God wants you to be united with Him and to depend on Him totally in all things so that you may do His will and glorify Him. But since you do not know your real character as evidenced by the fact that you continue to consider yourself good and able, you will naturally not rely on God and thus fail to render glory to Him.
You will be self-reliant and self-glorifying. Even now you still do not know how weak you actually are. Hence God allows you to be repeatedly defeated. And with each defeat it tells you you are weak.

Yet you insist on not believing; you still refuse to despair of yourself; you instead continue to be full of hope. You conclude that that defeat of yours was due to the lack of exerting yourself. If you exert yourself more next time, you say to yourself, then you will no doubt overcome.

Many have been your defeats, and many have been the times that you encountered ups and downs. Yet you remain ignorant of how weak you truly are. Up to the very present hour, you are not ready to learn the lesson which God has designed for you.

Having suffered so many defeats, why are you not yet totally despairing of yourself and wholly casting yourself upon God? When will you expect nothing from yourself, committing yourself completely into God's hand? Oh! When that finally does happen, you will depend on Him without planning or doing anything out from yourself and cease from your own work so that God may deliver you.

God today allows His children to struggle and struggle till they realize how futile is their effort. The Lord will wait until their strength is exhausted. Until that very moment will God stretch out His saving hand.
Whenever a believer ceases to trust in himself, God will wholly save him at that moment. For the Lord has no other aim than to show the believer that he is absolutely useless in divine life and work.
Apart from depending on God, the believer has no life.

One reason many believers miss God’s plan for their lives is that they try to be a "jack-of-all-trades and a master of none." We need to realize this — every one of us limited! If you could do it all yourself, there wouldn't be any need for the rest of us. Yet some people seem to think, "If God takes me off the scene, the won't get done!" No, it's human ego that likes to think that! "Yeah, but I'm the only one who is doing anything for God!"

Dear me, many times it is the people you have never heard of who are doing more for God than people with an attitude like that!

This is another issue that is addressed in the Holy Ghost School.

At this end-time, God wants to train His children by Himself. He announced this in Isaiah 2: 2,3; Micah 4: 1, 2; Joel 2:28 - 31 and Hebrews 8: 10, 11.

God wants to teach us by Himself so that none of us will miss the rapture. The way things are going on in the churches and fellowships are no longer pleasing to God. We have turned God's house into a place of trade and business. Do you know why? Because we are now in the time of the church in Laodicea, the church that talks of money and materialism as her message. A church that is blind, and naked, yet she knows it not! (Revelation 3: 17).

If we continue like this, we might all end up in hell, on the Judgement day! In order to save our souls, God now wants to draw us closer to Himself, so that He can cleanse us, and purify us, and teach us His real ways of life, which He called “the Narrow way”! Only those who follow the narrow way will make it to Heaven. Those who follow any other way will perish, so says the Lord Jesus! (See Matthew 7: 13, 14).
