ATTENTION! MINDSET THERAPY 101
Many people have been asking me inbox how and what made me emerge the 2024 winner of the Presidential Best Teacher Award Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Some said is it about online class or subject mastery exam....
...Not all about that please
Some said is it by political sorting....
....far far away from it. If it so then it can't reach me so.
Some said is it because you won Maltina Teacher of the Year Anambra Champion before......
.. it's a plus but not all about it.
Some with myopic mind said the awards are lobbied as we the winners don't have subject mastery or teaching skills.....
....This is dumb and laughable
Some even said is it randomly selected or game of chance......
.... It's not Naija bet
Some said is it about prayers and fasting grace.....
...God is involved but prayers and fasting without reasonable work is playing and casting
Now get the point a bit and be informed.
To win any such award in the education system, it's not a day nor year job, vision and preparation.
The truth is that what you don't dream, you don't pursue and you don't get.
It's not about wishing without working!
It has a series of standard quality assurance assessment and evaluation from the state level to the National level.
Teaching profession is more than preparing and delivering lessons, and cycling the school routines.
It goes beyond that.
Now ask yourself these questions....
What is your teaching philosophy and ideology?
How do you relate your teaching to problem solving?
What about your community service?
What about your volunteering in the society?
What are the skills you possess outside teaching?
How many social associations do you belong actively?
How many professional bodies do you belong actively?
How many professional development seminars and workshops have you attended with certificates.
How many have you contributed or facilitated?
How many recommendations, testimonials, excellent service awards, commendations have you received with evidence officially?
How many international organizations do you belong and how many of them have recognized you and your impact certified?
How many professional courses certified have you undertaken online?
What is the output or impact of the years of teaching experience you are counting?
How do your students perform in external Examinations?
How many of your students have won awards or competitions?
What are your professional milestones in general?
What are your products...the students you taught .. their profiles and milestones?
What are your standings with the 21st century 4Cs in teaching and Learning?
What is your media viability and visibility?
What is your teaching philosophy and professional profile?
How many students have you taught and mentored outside your work place?
How far have you contributed to Global issues like SDGs goals including STEM education and climate change among immerging issues?
Can your students write positive attestation about?
Can your school management write positive testimony about you?
Can your school community testify about your service?
Can your PTA identify with you?
Can your home community attest for you?
Can your church clergy and fellowship endorse you?
Do your local government know you proudly as an effective teacher?
Can your aggregate Profiles and achievement merit the state ministry of education consideration for nomination?
How far and how much have you invested in your academics, skills and professional development?
Let me stop here.....I believe this has given you insight!
To be outstanding you must invest in yourself to stand out!
To be extra ordinary, you must sacrifice fortune to do ordinary things in an extraordinary way!
Success, excellence and greatness begin with mindset as well as failure and stagnation.
There's no growth in Comfort zone. -
- Patrick Okeke would always say
If you don't push yourself, no body will lend hand to push you forward.
Yes, you can, if you can renew your mindset!
It's not all about awards, but about knowing your strengths and potentials as well as your weaknesses and limitations.
As for my National award, I was busy doing my things of my interests online and offline from years gone. Though many people have called me many names as to blackmail me in the media space...some say I am showing myself or trying to claim what I cannot be, I should park well with my motivational talks and noise....I don't mind detractors.
I was invited sometime this year at the state quality assurance to bring all my profiles and achievements as they have been hearing volumes and observing my activities in teaching profession and records.
Last I was invited at the Zonal level but it stopped there. But I continued building up my profile and expanding my services.
This year I succeeded by God's grace. Thanks to Our Coordinators Dr. Bibian Okoli and Mrs
Sabina Ndigwe. All glory be to God.
My friend and noble colleague that won Maltina Teacher national champion Esomnofu Chidiebube Ifechukwu ,...both of us started same period to sacrifice and build up.
Remember Anambra teaching on Air for example. Some people were mocking us for using our money to go to ABS Awka through out the Covid-19 era to teach on Air to help Anambra and Nigerian students at home learn among others. God bless. Mr Patrick Okeke
May God bless your little efforts in your areas of your strength and potential....!

PHYSICS Lesson for IGCSE /SSCE/UTME
Topic : MOTION (Mechanics)
Motion: A Comprehensive Overview
1. Definition of Motion: Motion refers to the change in the position of an object with respect to time and its surroundings. It is one of the fundamental concepts in physics and is observed when a body moves from one location to another.
Force is responsible for motion of objects
2. Types of Motion
Translatory Motion: Motion along a straight line (rectilinear motion) or curved path (curvilinear motion).
Rotary/Rotational Motion: Motion where an object rotates around an axis (e.g., Earth revolving around the Sun).
Oscillatory Motion: Back-and-forth motion, such as a pendulum.
Random motion: is the unpredictable movement of objects or particles in different directions without a specific pattern. E.g. motion of smoke or dust particles in air. The Brownian motion.
Periodic Motion: Repeated motion that occurs at regular intervals, e.g., motion of a clock's hands.
3. Scalar and Vector Quantities in Motion
Distance (Scalar): Total path length traveled by an object, irrespective of direction.
Displacement (Vector): The straight-line distance from the initial to the final position, along with direction.
Speed (Scalar): The rate at which an object covers distance.
Velocity (Vector): The rate at which an object changes its position, including direction.
4. Kinematics: Describing Motion Kinematics is the branch of mechanics that deals with the description of motion without considering the forces that cause it. It includes the study of:
Position
Velocity
Acceleration
Key Equations of Motion (For uniformly accelerated motion): See image....
5. Dynamics: Causes of Motion Dynamics explains the forces responsible for the motion of objects. The key laws in dynamics are:
6. Newton's Laws of Motion
First Law (Law of Inertia): "An object continues in its state of rest, or uniform motion in a straight line, unless acted upon by an external force."
I. e idea of inertia
Second Law (Law of Force and Acceleration): "The acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force acting on it and inversely proportional to its mass." (F = ma)
Or.
The rate of change in the momentum of a body is proportional to the applied force in the direction of the force.
Third Law (Action and Reaction): "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction."
Free Fall: Motion of an object under the influence of gravity alone, typically described with constant acceleration due to gravity (9.8 m/s2)
Projectile Motion: Motion of an object thrown at an angle, influenced by gravity.
Circular Motion: Motion of an object along the circumference of a circle, requiring centripetal force.
7. Uniform and Non-Uniform Motion
Uniform Motion: When an object moves with constant speed in a straight line (e.g., a car traveling at a steady speed).
Non-Uniform Motion: When an object changes speed or direction over time (e.g., a car accelerating or decelerating).
8. Relative Motion Relative motion occurs when the motion of an object is observed from different reference frames. The motion of an object can appear different depending on the observer's point of view.
9. Work-Energy Theorem When an object moves under the influence of a force, work is done on it, leading to a change in its energy. This is often seen in the kinetic energy formula:
πΎ E = 1/2 mv2
KE = Kinetic energy
π
m = Mass of the object
π£
v = Velocity of the object
10. Conservation of Momentum Momentum is a vector quantity and is defined as the product of an objectβs mass and its velocity. The law of conservation of momentum states that in an isolated system, the total momentum remains constant if no external forces act on it.
