Basic 4 learners didn’t only explore the food chain and food web, they OWNED IT!
They showed how energy flows through living things, explaining science in ways that connect to everyday life.
Our Basic 5 learners moved beyond instruction‑based learning into active exploration as they presented their project on plant and animal cells.
It was an opportunity for them to investigate, express, and share knowledge with confidence—showing that learning is most powerful when children are directly involved in the process.
Moving beyond instruction-based learning to active exploration and expression of stages of plant growth by basic 1 pupils.
‘Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.’
Our basic 3 pupils turn Landform learning into vivid art that shows mountains, plateaus, hills and valleys, rivers and coast in a way they can see and touch.
This helps them connect the world they live in to the stories they create.
it builds curiosity about geography, boosts spatial thinking and makes abstract concepts concrete.
In Myrtle Vine Academy, lifelong learning is key.
