DO YOU KNOW about Queen Elizabeth II ?
Many people have heard about the sovereign Queen of England but doesn’t hold any fact about her. Let us quickly unveil some facts about her to you.
Did you know that the Queen never went to school? Or that she reportedly drinks a glass of Champagne every night before bed? But that doesn't mean she's not educated. Elizabeth (childhood nickname: "Lilibet") was taught by private tutors at home.
Queen Elizabeth II was born at 2.40am on 21 April 1926. On 21 April 2020, Queen Elizabeth II turned 94!
The Queen got married to Philip Mountbatten, (a former Greek and Danish prince) on 20 November 1947 at Westminster Abbey in London .
She was crowned Queen on 2 June 1953 She is the longest reigning monarch ever in Britain Beating even Queen Victoria (her great-great-grandma!).
As Queen, she has been served by 14 UK Prime Ministers Including Winston Churchill, Margaret Thatcher and more recently, Boris Johnson.
She’s the only person in the UK allowed to drive without a license And she still drives to this day!
The Queen has two birthdays. Her actual birthday 21 April and her official birthday, which is held on a Saturday in June – whenever the weather’s better!
Shockingly the Queen is prefers a privet life and has never granted a privet interview to any media. she published her first ever Instagram post in 2019!
The Queen can't be prosecuted or compelled to give evidence in court. Irrespective of the fact that she is not answerable to court and can not be litigated for any wrong, the Queen is careful to ensure that all her activities in her personal capacity are carried out in strict accordance with the law."
She doesn't have to pay taxes, but she does that. The sovereign isn't required to pay income or capital gains taxes, but Elizabeth has been voluntarily doing so since 1993.
Amazingly, The Queen uses her purse to send secret signals to her staff. If the queen is at dinner and places her handbag on the table, her staff knows that she wants the event to end in the next five minutes. And if she puts her bag on the floor, it signals that she would like to be rescued from her current conversation.
