‼️JAMB 2026 UTME REPRINTING OF EXAMINATION SLIP

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced that the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will commence on Thursday, 16 April 2026

Candidates are hereby informed that the reprinting of examination slip will begin on Friday, 10 April 2026. The examination slip will contain details like candidate’s examination date, time and venue and the examination slip must be printed ahead of the examination date.

This information is vital for all prospective candidates. Candidates are encouraged to adhere strictly to all instructions.

This applies to Nigeria and selected foreign centres.

Registration is strictly online and done only at accredited CBT centres.

👤 ELIGIBILITY- UTME

1. Candidates must be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2026.

2. Those below 16 may apply but cannot be admitted.

3. Five (5) O’Level credits including English Language are required.

Direct Entry (DE)
1. Candidates must possess ND, NCE, IJMB, NABTEB, HND, or a Degree.

2.All DE candidates must register through JAMB.

🧬 BIOMETRICS & REGISTRATION

Ten fingerprints and facial capture are compulsory.

Registration is individual, no group registration.

Biometric verification will be required at the exam centre.

Any biometric mismatch = disqualification.

📝 EXAMINATION DETAILS

UTME will be Computer-Based (CBT).

Candidates must print exam slips showing date, time, and venue.

No change of exam centre after registration.

📚 MOCK UTME

Optional but recommended.

Helps candidates familiarize themselves with CBT exams.

Only available at selected centres.

🚫 WARNINGS & PENALTIES

No multiple registrations.

No impersonation.

Forgery or false results = disqualification + prosecution.

Phones, smart devices, or cheating materials are strictly prohibited.

🌍 FOREIGN CENTRES

Available in the UK, Saudi Arabia, UAE, South Africa, among others.

Foreign candidates pay $30.

Complaints only through JAMB online ticketing platforms.

Before You Rush to Generate a Profile Code for 2026 JAMB, Read This First!!!

Many JAMB candidates often get confused about profile codes, especially when they did not gain admission in a previous year and plan to try again. Common questions include: “Do I need to generate a new profile code?” or “Can I use a different phone number?”

To avoid errors that could delay or even affect your admission process, it is important to understand how JAMB profile codes work.

1. You can reuse your 2025 profile code for the 2026 JAMB.
Once a profile code is generated, it is permanently tied to your personal details on the JAMB database. If you did not gain admission in 2025, there is no need to generate another profile code for 2026. You simply use the same profile code during your new registration. This is because JAMB uses the profile code as a unique identity for each candidate.

2. You cannot use a different phone number if you already have a profile code.
The phone number used to generate your profile code remains permanently linked to your JAMB profile. Therefore, you must continue using the same phone number for the 2026 JAMB. This is important because JAMB sends vital information such as profile confirmation, examination details, and admission updates through that number.
