THEME: GUARDING THE JOY OF YOUR HOME

SCRIPTURE: --- Psalm 128:1–2

"Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee."

"A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones."

DEVOTIONAL FOCUS
A joyful home is one of God's greatest blessings. However, the joy of a home does not happen by accident—it must be intentionally guarded. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy through bitterness, unforgiveness, harsh words, pride, and lack of love. But when Christ is the foundation of a home, peace, unity, and joy flourish.

Guard the atmosphere of your home by speaking words of life instead of criticism. Choose forgiveness over offense, patience over anger, and prayer over arguments. Make God's Word the standard for your family, and let love be the language spoken daily. Joy grows where gratitude, humility, and mutual respect are practiced.

Remember that every member of the family contributes to the atmosphere of the home. As you walk in love and wisdom, God will establish peace within your household and make your home a place of rest, strength, and blessing.

PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of my family and home. Fill our hearts with Your love, peace, and joy. Remove every seed of strife, bitterness, and misunderstanding. Help us to speak with grace, forgive quickly, and walk in unity. Let Your presence reign in our home, making it a place of peace, righteousness, and lasting joy. In Jesus' name, Amen.
