I have been away for a while due to unforseen circumstances that made me see the kind of potentials I had in me as a Student-Teacher,

I received a call from one of my coursemate who told me about an Islamic program that was ongoing, an instructor was needed but I was a petrified because I was like how can I become an instructor without prior knowledge of what am going to be doing,

Long story cut short 😁, I told my guardian about the event and she said go check it out if it something you can handle, I got dressed the following morning and that was how I became an instructor for a whole week unexpectedly which means my other schedules were automatically cancelled,

I had an amazing time at the event, I felt so emotional when it came to an end 😭, my students were all shouting "Aunty, we are going to miss you", I learnt so much from my students.

One thing made me being an instructor easier was what I was taught by my lecturers in school, I said to myself "I AM A FUTURE TEACHER".

Dear Moms and their little minds (Young ones),

There are moments you will feel your best isn't enough, moments you thought of giving up but the smile on your little ones face keeps you going,

Moments you wanted a break but couldn't afford to leave them behind because you feel no one will take care of them better than you do,

Moments you feel spanking them is the solution to the problem not knowing you are only adding salt to the injury,

Being a mom and a wife can be overwhelming but remember you are their role model,

The one they look up to when in need, the one they call for help, the one they expect to always be there for them anytime,

Thank you for not losing it Moms, we appreciate your efforts, we are sorry for always putting you on the edge,

A role given to you without payment and you became best at what you do,

But please Moms, never transfer your aggression to us when others offend you because you hurt our feelings and sometimes we become traumatized.

Moms and their Little Minds, you make a great team together.

Tips on how to know your learning style

Last week I was opportune to be the moderator for this event and it was an amazing honor,

I have never really been on the spotlight or actually be part of an event either big or small,

When I entered the university, I told myself I won't engage in any activity or become part of any association but,

Leadership role found me, I became an assistant class representative, then became the class representative the following semester, it wasn't easy because I had communication problem since I couldn't speak the immediate language there,

Fast forward to my second year in the school, towards ending of the semester I made some acquaintance who introduced me to JCIN FUD PROTEM,

That's the beginning of my leadership skills becoming better, I served as Director of Skills and Training, and currently serving as the Vice President Administration, currently the Vice President of NAPEDSN of my department,

JCIN FUD PROTEM has changed a lot of things about me, being a class representative from year one till date has made me see leadership in a new way.

Being Muslimah, holding leadership roles hasn't been easy because there have been challenges I face time to time but it has shaped me into a better person with a new personality.

So dear Muslimah sister and every other sister out there, believe in yourself, with faith you can handle anything, be it motherhood, student entrepreneur, if others are doing it without fear or anything, you can do it as well.

Your principles doesn't need to be compromised for anything, STAND FIRM with your HEAD HELD HIGH.

It YOUR BODY YOU COVERED NOT YOUR BRAIN.
