Sickle cell crisis, oh how it hurts Leaves you feeling weak and on the verge Of breaking down, but you're strong You've been through this before, and you'll carry on

The pain is sharp, it cuts like a knife But you'll survive, you'll fight for your life The cells in your blood, they twist and turn And your body screams out, for the pain to adjourn

You'll take deep breaths, and try to relax But the pain just won't go away, it attacks Every inch of your body, from head to toe But you won't give up, you'll never let go

Sickle cell crisis, it's a battle you'll fight But you're not alone, we'll stand by your side With love and support, we'll help you through And together, we'll make it to the other side, anew.
