Wednesday January 20, 2021, Joseph R. Biden, Jnr shall be sworn in as the 46th President of the United States after Donald J. Trump.
A. UNITY PRAYER FOR SMOOTH TRANSITION (UPST)
1. Thank God for giving America People and indeed the whole world the likes of President Donald J. Trump (outgoing) and President Joe Biden, the incoming.
2. Ask God to watch over US and all her interest and guide the handing over of power to be peaceful.
3. Joe Biden (77) seems to be the oldest person to be sworn in as the President of the United States. Ask God to give him the needed wisdom and help him to lead in righteousness (2 Sam 23:3,4)
4. Bless America and ask the LORD God to jealously reserve the nation for his own glory and praise, (PS. 2:8).

Three administrative units of Assemblies of God Nigeria, namely, Afikpo, Umuahia North and Umuahia Central Districts would be having their Triennial council meeting this week.
AFIKPO DISTRICT ASSEMBLIES OF GOD, Nigeria with Headquarters at Amachara Ebonyi State and in South East zone 4, Nineth Triennial District Council comes up on Thursday and Friday, January 21 and 22, 2021. The officiating ministers are Rev David Agu and Rev Malachi J. Udoh.
UMUAHIA NORTH DISTRICT, Assemblies of God, Nigeria with headquarters at Umueze, Umuahia Abia State within the South East zone 1, Second Triennial Council meeting holds on Thursday and Friday, Jan 21, 22. The officiating Ministers are Rev Godwin A. Amaowoh, PhD and Rev Dr Living Joshua.

Holy Spirit came on the Charles F. Parham's Bethel Bible College, Topeka, USA. Miss Agnes N. Ozman became the first person to be baptized in the Holy Spirit evidenced in speaking in other tongues as it was in Act of Apostles. The incident mark the beginning of the 20th Century Pentecostalism.

1994
January 1:
Abuja Area Assemblies of God Nigeria as it was known then, attained District status. The Rev (Dr.) G. G. Uche was the pioneer District Superintendent.

1995
January 1.
Anioma Area upgraded to a District came to effect today. The unit that was called Delta North was changed to Anioma District Assemblies of God Nigeria. Rev David Chiwuzo was the pioneer District Superintendent.

2003
January 1.
The three units carved out of the defunct Makurdi District which were:
1. Igede District Assemblies of God Nigeria
2. Gboko Miss Area and thirdly,
Makurdi Area Assemblies of God Nigeria, took off as inaugurated today.

Assemblies of God is a Pentecostal pacesetter in Nigeria, up-reach in worship of God, in-reach in discipleship of believers, and outreach in evangelizing the world. AG is empowered to empower healthy pentecostal pastors to grow and conserve healthy Pentecostal churches in the power of the Holy Spirit.

On Sunday 16 September, 1934 at Port Harcourt and Umuahia respectively, the members of the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST as AG was known and called then, was mightily Baptized in the Holy Spirit. The first male to be filled was Marcus Asonye , aged 12; and the first female to receive was Bessie Nwoji.

This incident followed barely one month after the group parted from the Faith Tabernacle Church in search of doctrinal fulfillment of the Father’s promise as written in the Book of Acts chapter 2.

What men regarded as 'never again', happened again. As it happened on Sunday 29 May, AD 30 at Jerusalem, so, it happened again in eastern Nigeria cities of Port Harcourt and Umuahia respectively.

GOD BLESS WORLD ASSEMBLIES OF GOD FELLOWSHIP AT 31
