🎯 Objective: Learn how to ask and understand basic directions.

1️⃣ Key Vocabulary (Mots clés)

Où → Where

à gauche → to the left

à droite → to the right

tout droit → straight ahead

près d’ici → near here

loin → far

2️⃣ Useful Phrases (Phrases utiles)

Où est la gare ? → Where is the train station?

C’est loin ? → Is it far?

Allez tout droit, puis tournez à gauche. → Go straight, then turn left.

Excusez-moi, je cherche l’hôtel. → Excuse me, I’m looking for the hotel.

💡 Politeness tip: Always add “s’il vous plaît” (please).

Talking About Likes and Dislikes (Parler des goûts et préférences)

🎯 Objective: Learn how to say what you like and don’t like.

aimer → to like / love

adorer → to adore

préférer → to prefer

détester → to hate

le chocolat → chocolate

le football → football / soccer

la musique → music

2️⃣ Key Grammar – Using “j’aime / je n’aime pas”

J’aime le chocolat. → I like chocolate.

Je n’aime pas le football. → I don’t like football.

J’adore la musique. → I love music.

Je préfère le thé. → I prefer tea.

💡 Rule: After aimer, adorer, préférer, détester → use le, la, l’, les before the noun.
