BAPTIST GRAMMAR SCHOOL AJAAWA HOSTS SUCCESSFUL INTER-HOUSE SPORTS COMPETITION

Earlier today, Baptist Grammar School Ajaawa organized a thrilling Inter-House Sports Competition. The event, which marked a milestone in the school's calendar, was declared a huge success by stakeholders.

In his welcome address, the school Principal, Comrade Oyeyinka H.O., expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity to organize the event, noting that it would be his first and last as principal of the school. He appreciated the efforts of the staff, students, and dignitaries who contributed to the event's success. "I am grateful to God for this milestone project, and I thank everyone who has worked tirelessly to make this event a reality," he said.

Chairperson of the day, Mrs. Bosede Oluwole, lauded the school's administration for organizing one of the best inter-house sports competitions in recent years, citing that excellent security arrangements, student comportment, participation, level of discipline, and sportsmanship displayed by the students were outstanding.

The competition saw Yellow House emerge victorious, followed closely by Pink House in second place, Green House in third, and Blue House in fourth. The winners were awarded trophies and medals in a colorful ceremony.

The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including the immediate past principal of the school, Mr. Oyetunde Adewuyi; Mr. Olatunde Sola, Mr. John Akintola, Alhaji Sanusi, Mrs. Iyabo Adeleke, Hajia Salawudeen, Mr. Layode Oketokun, LIE Ogo-oluwa LGA; ANCOPSS Ogo-oluwa zone, representative of the old students' association, and a host of others.

The organizing committee, chaired by Mr. P.A Popoola, and comprising Mr. O.E Adeniji, Mr. Oguntunji D.B., Mr. Adewale A.A., and Mr. Ogundipe A.O., was commended for their hard work and dedication in ensuring the success of the event.

The Inter-House Sports Competition was a testament to the school's commitment to promoting sports and healthy competition among students. As the school community looks forward to future events, one thing is clear: Baptist Grammar School Ajaawa is a force to be reckoned with in the world of sports.
