Celebrating an Exceptional Leader: Happy Birthday to Our Principal

Today, the entire school community of Millennium Model Secondary School 1, Oke-Owode, Ogbomoso joyfully celebrates the birthday of our highly esteemed principal, Mr. Omololu Dele Fleming.

Mr. Dele Omololu is a leader par excellence, a competent administrator whose diligence, passion, and unwavering commitment to excellence have continued to move our school forward. His leadership is marked by vision, discipline, and a strong determination to see every member of the school community succeed.

As a result-oriented leader and a true go-getter, he has introduced numerous initiatives and spearheaded several teaching and learning enhancement projects that have significantly contributed to the growth and development of the school. His optimism and forward-thinking approach have inspired both staff and students to strive for greater achievements.

His outstanding leadership ability has also earned him wider recognition beyond the school, culminating in his emergence as the Secretary General of All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools in Oyo State (ANCOPSS, State Level). This is a testament to his administrative competence and the respect he commands among education professionals.

EDUCATIONAL EXCURSION TO FOOD SOLUTION LIVESTOCK LIMITED

Learning goes beyond the four walls of the classroom. In line with our commitment to practical and experiential learning, students of Millennium Model Secondary School 1, Oke-Owode, Ogbomoso embarked on an educational excursion to Food Solution Livestock Limited.

During the visit, our students were warmly received by the management and staff of the company, who took time to introduce them to modern livestock production, animal care, feeding techniques, and the role of technology in improving agricultural practices. The excursion provided a rare opportunity for the students to see firsthand, how theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom is applied in real-life agricultural operations.

The students explored various sections of the facility, asked insightful questions, and participated actively in the interactive sessions. It was indeed an eye-opening experience that broadened their understanding of agriculture, entrepreneurship, and career opportunities within the livestock industry.

This excursion not only enriched their academic knowledge but also inspired many of them to appreciate the importance of agriculture in national development and food security.

We sincerely appreciate the PRE-VOCATIONAL Department (of Millennium Model Secondary School 1) for this laudable initiative as well as the management and staff of Food Solution Livestock Limited for their warm reception and for providing such an enlightening learning experience for our students.

In commemoration of International Women's Day 2026, the Federation of Ogbomoso Students Union (FOGSU) paid a visit to Millennium Model Secondary School 1, Oke-Owode Ogbomoso.

During the visit, members of FOGSU sensitized some of our female students on the worth, dignity, and value of the girl child, encouraging them to grow with confidence, purpose, and self-respect. As part of the outreach, sanitary pads were also distributed to support the health and well-being of our girls.

We sincerely appreciate FOGSU for this thoughtful initiative and for investing in the empowerment of the girl child.
