Then I HEARD the Song beside Me;

"We're In a new generation, God is raising fine boys wey love Jesus, fine girls wey love Jesus, people wey love Jesus..."

THEN I HEARD FROM ABOVE ME...

"Brothers, consider your calling: Not many are wise from a human perspective, not many powerful, not many of noble birth. Instead, God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is INSIGNIFICANT and DESPISED in the world— what is viewed as NOTHING — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one can BOAST in His presence"- 1 Cor.1.26-29

I study to SHOW myself APPROVED (same weight, measure, or quality)...there is no shame in the truth- 2 Tim 2:15.

Christ died according to the scriptures and was buried and raised according to the scriptures...that is approved (current after assayal)...Jesus christ must died, be buried and must be raised in the manner in which it happened because his life and death and resurrection must have the same weight, measure and quantity in accordance to the scriptures.

The GENERATION Jesus Christ is raising has not changed...INSIGNIFICANT, DESPISED and viewed as NOTHING!

Do you qualify? Ask Jesus Christ to save you if you seem INSIGNIFICANT, DESPISED and viewed as NOTHING...Jesus Christ will save you!

A DISCIPLE'S GUIDE TO FINDING JESUS CHRIST!
"As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants after you, God"- Psalm 42:1.

THE DEER PANTS BUT WHY?
1. The deer is thirsty. Thirst may not be comfortable but it is the most important and major reason for the panting of the Deer. The deer pants because of thirst. It seeks because it needs. Who do you seek? Is it Jesus Christ? If it is Jesus, why do you seek Him? Look at those who want Jesus because they need a job, when the job does come, they stop seeking Him. Your pants for Him is dependent on your reason for seeking Him.

2. The Deers' pants is for quality not a social gathering.
The muddy water exists and the stagnant pools may even be closer but only the water brooks is the choice of the Deer and it takes a definite desire even unto panting to get to the water brooks.

FOR A DISCIPLE
If you therefore seek to pant after God like the deer, understand what it means for the deer to thirst & pant. Understand that the purest form of knowing God is not in everything or everywhere even though God is everywhere- it is in a specifically described person call Jesus Christ.
Jesus said; "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink"(John 7:37).

WHY DO YOU SEEK HIM?
Again why do you seek Him? To join the others who are seeking Him or for your personal thirst? Do you have a clear understanding of who it is that bears your salvation from thirst?
Every meeting, every gathering, every preaching, every message must lead directly to Jesus Christ who alone can satisfy your thirst. No, not the Church affiliation, not the promise of an arrangement with the Church and not because of a special blessing from the pastor.
Every truth if they are really the truth must lead back to Jesus Christ. For Jesus Christ is the truth. You must genuinely need Him and see Him as all you want, for it is written; " You will seek me and find me when you seek me with All your heart"(Jer. 29:13). Do not be confused, it is a thing to SEEK Him and another thing to FIND Him.

DON'T BE THRILL BY MERELY SEEKING HIM...
Many people have become satisfied with just seeking Christ. To them, seeking is the real deal and nothing more.
People who are seeking Him may look like they have found Him and they are often satisfied with so many things that looks like a thrill on the pathway of seeking Christ but are not Jesus the Christ.

SEEMING THRILLS BUT ...
They are stratified with the praise team, the charisma of the Pastor, the social gathering/ offer they receive. They are satisfied with the greetings; "I celebrate you", even though no believer greeted like that in the scriptures because "the thrills on the path to seeking Him is not the end goal".

And we call them Christians or other fanciful names because to seek Him can naturally classify a person as His follower.

THRILL SEEKERS MAY NOT FIND HIM
Judas followed for 3 years but he did not find Him even though he was called a follower of Jesus Christ.

HAVE YOU FOUND HIM OR HAVE BEEN FOUND BY HIM?
Here is the difference,
the people who have found Him will always conclude that; "that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings...".
For until you find Him, you may not know how much of Him you still need. So are you satisfied or you want more of Him?
If you want more, then it may indicate you have found Him but if the "opening hymn and closing hymn" is all that satisfies you- you are far from Him who died and rose again to reconcile us unto God in righteousness, peace and Joy.

As the Deer pants so I pant after you God says the Psalmist- the deer finds the brooks and keeps coming back for more even though he has found the brook.
In Christ our thirst is/can be satisfied but our panting continues until we are made perfect. Shalom!

DID DAVID DANCE SHAKU-SHAKU BY THE HOLY SPIRIT?
2 Sam. 6:14-16

Truth is a worthy pursuit and it it is accentuated above opinions. Truth must be original(first) and absolute. A matter cannot be true in Nigeria and false in Britain.

The claims of the Bible must be validated as true and the truth. A major concern for truth seekers Is the application of these truths to life.

TRUTH IS THE MEASURE...
King David of the Bible offers a significant part of the truth that believers lives by Songs, hymns , doctrines etc he authored or co-authored.

BUT DAVID ALSO DANCED...
Many don't care much about the doctrines of David's Psalms(songs/hymns) but are quick to use David's dance as the "PERMISSION" to go wild and dance "weird".

HOW DID DAVID DANCE?
David brought the Ark to the city of David and this was the second attempt. 2 Sam.6 :12; "And it was told king David, saying, The LORD has blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertains to him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness."

The ark was supposed to bring THE CONSCIOUSNESS of the presence of God, yet David broke the law of God concerning the transportation of the Ark and so Uzzah died.

FIRST TIME VS SECOND TIME...

First procession...
AUDIENCE- David brought all the celebrity musicians in order to usher the Ark into Jerusalem.

HOW? -1Chron. 13:8; "And David and all Israel PLAYED before God with all their might, and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with tambourines, and with cymbals, and with trumpets."

Did you notice the word "PLAYED"?
The Hebrew word is "śâchaq" which means
A. Play
B. To Sport
C. To Jest or laugh

It means the dance was fun-filled and enjoyable...song leaders came from everywhere, Harp players, psalteries etc. It was a full band. Infact David summoned a large audience in 1 chronicles 13:1-5. ..Egyptians came, Antiochans came and all Israel came.
EGYPTIANS dancing in the Church...hmm!

SOCIAL MEDIA- The show/dance would have gone viral and it would have been re-twitted over and over if Twitter existed . It was well "packed" with all kinds and "anything Goes". No rules...no laws.
THEN SOMEBODY DIED...

Second Procession...
AUDIENCE- Sanctified Levites and Priests were allowed to come near the Ark. Only Israelites(people of the covenant) were invited. 1Chron. 15:14; "So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel."

HOW? - David put on the same cloth as the sanctified Levites who bore the Ark. This time, He was not acting as King but as the anointed. He was not naked. Listen; "And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bore the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also had on him an ephod of linen".

He had the same uniform of the Priests and Levites and then put the Ephod on as well- this was a return to His purpose as a King and Priest.

He DANCED AND LEAPED...the Hebrew word means to leap and dance around in circles. "kârar" is the word for His kind of dance and it means to whirl around.

HOW DID DAVID REALLY DANCE?
"...Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!" Then David said; "And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in my own sight: and of the maidservants which you have spoken of,..."

1. David danced in an unglorious way...it wasn't socially acceptable and won t go VIRAL.

2. David's dance was comparable to that which lowly people dance..vile and debased(shameful and humiliating).

It was a dance which shows humility. Yes- HUMILITY.
SOCIAL MEDIA - It wasn't socially acceptable because it was humiliating and not fashionable. It won t go VIRAL if it was showed on social media...it won't go VIRAL.

WHY DID DAVID DANCE?
The first procession for bringing Ark would go VIRAL and be acceptable to all. Like all popular contemporary dances and moves...the first procession however ended in death and damage of relationship. DAVID DISTANCED HIMSELF FROM THE LORD AFTERWARDS- 2 Sam 6:9; "David was afraid of the LORD that day and said, “How will the ark of the LORD ever come to me?”"

The Second Procession however was different. David didn't yield to lawlessness...know that
1. Only SANCTIFIED(holiness) people took part.
2. It was humbling and "humiliating" , the World would find David's dance unpopular and non-enticing.
3. Popular musicians or music was not included.

LET ME SHOCK YOU AGAIN
David did not dance because the Holy Spirit came upon Him. The song, "When the Spirit of the Lord comes upon my heart, I will dance like David danced" is unBiblical and unfortunate.

David danced with all his might on both occasions (1 1Chron. 13:8 &2 Sam.6:14) of the unsuccessful and successful transportation of the Ark of God. It was not the Holy Spirit...he was just dancing with the energy he had. There is no single verse that support dancing in the Spirit. IT IS NOT IN THE BIBLE AT ALL. Place your personal experience beside God's truth...Truth trumps.

BUT THERE IS ANOTHER DANCE...
Moses returned from the presence of the Lord and Israel was Dancing...this dance was popular and acceptable to Israel but it ended in death because of its audience. Exodus 32:19; "When he approached the camp and saw the calf and the DANCING, Moses became extremely angry. He threw the tablets from his hands and broke them to pieces at the bottom of the mountain."

That is the originof Shaku shaku and other dance moves and not David's second procession dance.

THE DIFFERENCE...
David danced to the AUDIENCE OF ONE.
It was not an acceptable dance before royalty and it was humbling not flesh promoting because the Audience was the true living God. Just one audience-THE TRUE LIVING GOD. 2 Sam 6:21; "And David said to Michal, It was before the LORD, which chose me before your father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: therefore will I play before the LORD."

JUST ONE AUDIENCE.

CHRIST Jesus died and rose again to bring us into relationship with a HOLY GOD whose acceptable worship must be stipulated by His word.
Holiness demands separation and distinction. Romans 14:7-8; "For not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself; for if we live, we live for the Lord..."
IF WE DANCE, WE DANCE TO THE AUDIENCE OF ONE-THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!

If the dancing goes viral and is acknowledged as acceptable by the World...it is of the flesh and it leads to death. Sowing to the flesh yields death but living by the Spirit brings life (Romans 8:13).

IF YOU do not know how to Dance to the AUDIENCE OF ONE-Lord Jesus Christ , call upon Jesus Christ who died, was buried and rose according to the Scriptures to save you.

Present your bodies to Him as a living sacrifice( Romans 12:1-2)...dancing for the AUDIENCE OF ONE begins right there. Your dance won't go VIRAL if it's to the AUDIENCE one but it will be worthy of the lamb.

Hope you will ask yourself from now...'how many are the audience you are dancing for?
TRUTH IS FIGHTING BACK!

THE SON'S OF SCEVA HAVE STARTED AGAIN!
Acts 19:13-16& Hebrews 3:1

Every time you call yourself everything that the Bible didn't call you, you re-enact the Son's of SCEVA episode of Acts 19:13-16.

You can chant all day long and assume that because you feel good, God must be in it. We live by faith and not by feelings.

You are enjoying the beats and you can't even know that the Holy Spirit is not involved. How will you know? You have been taught everything ritualistic but you have not allowed GRACE to teach you. Titus 2:11-14 says grace TEACHES.

You have been taught that praying certain hours a day will unlock God's gifts of grace...and you practice it. Wait do you work to get paid with GRACE?
Hmm! Grace can never be a payment!

The other day...a man said to me that "he is Christ". I asked him to show me the book and chapter of the scriptures where this is so? He said it is a new revelation that the "Holy Spirit" is just brining afresh. Ha! That's the devil 👿!

BUT JESUS CHRIST IS THE HIGH PRIEST OF OUR CONFESSION...
Hebrews 3:1 says Jesus Christ is the Apostle and High Priest of our confession/profession. The word Profession/confession is Greek is actually "Homologia" which means to "say the same thing as another, i.e. to agree with". YOUR CONFESSION MUST BE THE SAME AS HIS...no difference.

The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ grants us access in grace to speak the father's word back to Him for the supernatural to occur, BUT WE MUST SAY THE SAME THING.

SONS OF SCEVA In Acts 19...
They made a profession but it wasn't what was in the word, it was from their opinion...seven of them got the beating of their lives from a demon possessed person.

THE SON'S OF SCEVA ARE AT IT AGAIN...
You are not fire...you are not glory...you are not anything that God has not first spoken in His word.

You are the light because Matthew 5:14 says you are!
You are sons of God because Galatians 4:6 says you are!

Let only GODS WORD LIVE RENT FREE IN YOUR MIND AND SPIRIT...sometimes you may assume that because Israel brought back the Ark in 1 Samuel 4:5 that God was with them. Listen; "And when the ark of the covenant of the Lord came into the camp, all Israel shouted so loudly that the earth shook" but the philistine Army stood their ground and the bible says; "And the Philistines were afraid, for they said, God is come into the camp. ..And the Philistines fought, and Israel was smitten, and they fled every man into his tent: and there was a very great slaughter; for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen"(1 Sam. 4:7-10).

Israel was defeated...when the sons of SCEVA leads worship, you will jump, you will shout and you will feel good but God is not in it... because GOD HAS NEVER SAID THAT BEFORE NOR DONE THAT BEFORE.

Watch out...don't bring back the sons of SCEVA.

BREAKING NEWS!

IF GRACE IS INVOLVED, THEN WORKS IS NOT NEEDED.

IT IS STRANGE TO OFFER GRACE AND YET TELL PEOPLE TO FOLLOW A RITUAL TO ACTUALIZE WHAT GRACE OFFERS...VERY STRANGE!
CHRIST DEATH, BURIAL & RESURRECTION PAID IT ALL.

If you pray for 8 hours per day, will power and anointing now become a payment for your "works" of prayers?
The chanting that the Apostles of the scriptures did not practice nor know about is now the measure of worship?
Who has BEWITCHED this generation?

If you think you can pray...use the Bible alone for one hour to pray and see how long you will last...it is easy to speak in unknown tongues for two hours because your brain is numbed and your flesh sweats...JUST USE THE WORD TO PRAY...was it not only the word that launched Daniel to pray and fast in Daniel 9:2-3?

Now you need a background music to be able to pray...go and ask Saul the King for why he needs music to feel okay (1 Samuel 16:23).

THE WORD IS ENOUGH....ALWAYS!!!
If the word is not enough to launch your spiritual exercises...YOU SERVE THE FLESH and you are puffed up by what your flesh can do even if you label it spiritual.

What the Apostles did not use, what the missionaries that brought the gospel to our "dark continent" did not require and neither did men of faith did not build their life upon...RID YOURSELF OF DEPENDENCE on them.

SUBTRACT GRACE FROM THE GOOD-NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST AND YOU ARE LEFT WITH WHAT YOUR FLESH CAN AND WILL ACHIEVE.

Imagine after following the prescriptions of popular Apostles and Bishops, why have you still not gained their spiritual status?

The death, burial and resurrection of Christ is our glory.

"And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work"- Rom 11:6
