*100 DAYS IN OFFICE: NACAS UNVEILS NATIONAL SECRETARIAT, PRESENTS LEADERSHIP SCORECARD*
According to the words of a sage, Prof. Wọlé Soyinka, "when you look into the faces of people, only then will you realize that there are still so much work to be done"
The 2022/Administration ably led by the The First female Elected and Inaugurated President, Comrade Kemisola Babatunde (Khemistry) alongside many other viable and vibrant colleagues, to pilot the affairs of this great Association Started Exactly 100 days ago
Without doubt in our minds, the past 100 days has been the best part of our careers.
It has been a massive turn around in the history of Nacas ever since the mantle of leadership was handed over to us within the last 100 days.
We have been able to carry out a handful of programs which had put our dear Association miles ahead of other indeginous Associations.
Within the last 100 days, we have visited all the security outfits in Àkókó land and paid a courtesy visit to all the traditional rulers.
For the first time in the history of Indigenous Associations in ondo state, Nacas Organized first of its kind double phase security summit, where solutions were suggested and are being implemented in other to curb the rampaging insecurities in our land. This is a build up to the first of its kind Leadership summit we organized.
We have been able to sensitized the students on the danger of teenage pregnancy and how important it is to avoid it.
Within our first 100 days, we have secured admissions for our students in various institutions, some of them are on full scholarship for two years.
Distinguished sons and daughters of Akoko land, it is our pleasure to present to you, the NATIONAL SECRETARIAT OF NACAS located at NSCDC ONDO NORTH ZONAL HEADQUARTER COMPOUND, BESIDE IKARE ARMY CHECKPOINT, IKARE ÀKÓKÓ. This is coming at the right time for the right purposes.
As we promised during our manifesto, the welfare of the Students shall be our primary focus and we won't derial from that.
It is on this note we are calling on all sons and daughters of Akoko home and abroad to assist us financially, so we can equip our secretariat to standard. We shall definitely look forward to your support financially.
In the light of this, our boundless and endless appreciation goes to the Almighty God for his gift of life and strength. He is the source of what we have and are and has been the brain behind our success stories.
Our appreciation goes to all Nacasites who gave us the opportunity to make impact.
We sincerely appreciate our stakeholders and leaders across the four local government Areas, may you continue to live long.
Also, our words of appreciation goes to the executive chairman of Àkókó North East Local Government for approving our request to have a secretariat after many years of establishment of Nacas. To our distinguished leader, Comr. Hon. Amuda, the executive secretary of Akoko North East Local Government, the role you played in securing this secretariat is huge and we pray God continues to give you the energy and the strength to make impact.
We appreciate Hon. Bashorun Aguda for the precious role played.
Our inexhaustible Hon. Olumuyiwa ASAGUNLA, thank you for your show of leadership, guidance and support.
We cannot mention all, we are grateful to everyone who had one way or another, contributed to the success of our Administration so far, we look forward to enjoying even more.
To the Executive members and the legislative Arm, what could we have done without you all, thank you for being there.
Once again dear Nacasites, your financial contributions towards our NATIONAL SECRETARIAT is highly needed at this point.
