Idemili North LG Ward Chairmen back the new face in Idemili Politics for Federal House of Representative

Hon. Kene Igboebisi’s aspiration to represent Idemili North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives received a major boost as the 21 Ward Chairmen of Idemili North Local Government Area applauded his bid.
The APGA ward chairmen gave their backing during a strategic meeting in Nkpor, where Igboebisi appeared before them to formally present his ambition.
At the meeting, the frontline aspirant said his decision to meet the ward chairmen personally was informed by the vital role they play in grassroots politics and electioneering. He acknowledged their contributions to party growth and electoral victories, stressing that leaders at that level deserve recognition and sustained support.
Igboebisi also used the occasion to identify with the chairmen as critical stakeholders in the political future of Idemili North and South, while outlining his readiness to offer purposeful representation.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the Chairman of Abacha Ward, Ichie Akaeze, said the ward chairmen were pleased with Igboebisi’s approach and impressed by his decision to engage them directly.
He noted that his emergence had stirred hope among grassroots party leaders who now seek a representative that would remain accessible, accountable and committed to the people after election.
Also, the Chairman of Eziowelle Ward, Hon. Willie Chukwuemezie Nzekwesi, described Igboebisi as a credible and forward-looking aspirant whose professional exposure and leadership potential could bring a refreshing dimension to representation in the constituency.
He, however, urged him to remain focused and avoid the failings that had undermined public confidence in some past political office holders.
