GRUNDTVIG MARKS WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2026 WITH ECO AWARENESS WEEK 🌱🌍

🗑️ "TRASH THE LITTER, NOT THE EARTH!"

In the lead-up to World Environment Day 2026 being marked today, our school organised an Eco Awareness Week filled with educational and engaging activities, including poster design, drama, presentations, talks, and awareness parades.

We were honoured to have the support of the Anambra State Ministry of Environment, represented by Deputy Director Mrs. Maureen Ofili and Mr. Vincent Nwachukwu, who enlightened our students on environmental responsibility and sustainable waste management practices and officially launched our Environmental Club.

We also launched our Anti-Litter Campaign, encouraging students to keep our environment clean. Our student judges led their peers in affirming simple but important environmental habits: do not drop litter, do not walk past litter, use waste bins properly, and take responsibility for their surroundings.

Together, we are raising environmentally conscious and active citizens committed to building a cleaner, greener future.
