RESUMPTION!

Yes, resumption in the Den was billed for today, 3rd January, 2023. But academic activities are to commence next week. Hence the question, are you ready? Or perhaps you still want to feast on chicken and all the regrettables, sorry, delicacies that are only available this season.

Wake up Bureaucrat, reality calls!

Meanwhile, here are some tips to help you prepare for RESUMPTION:

•Have a clear Budget— The first thing a business person is likely to think of is capital. They need it to fund every part of their business. The same applies to you, bureaucrat. You need to make a list of what you need and the amount needed to get them. We believe your school fee should top the list which has been increased to 75k for other years and approximately 111k for first years. Having it paid on time will help you focus on your lectures rather than worrying. The other things that should follow are transport fare and feeding money or foodstuffs that would last you for at least three months. If you stay outside school, remember you've got to pay bills e.g electricity, water and some other contributions your lodge might require.

•Get to know your course and internalize them:

By now, you should have gotten a list of your courses for this semester from your class rep. Get to know some basic things about them like the course code, title and the lecturers handling them. And go the extra mile by doing some research on them. It will somehow help you feel confident about your courses. Isn't that what you need anyways?

•Let go of toxicity this year:

Comrade, you're not a goat. Whatever gave you troubles last year— relationship? addictions? shouldn't be found in your space this year. You need a healthy mind for a healthy life. Let go of those things. You can do it. Yes, you can do it. Be toxic-free and live toxic-free.

It is actually in God we move, live and have our being. Commit this year unto Him. Let God be at the center of your doings this year and see your life glow from his glory.

Of course we are more than a town hall different from Bala Bulu blu ba.

‭• We were established in 1979 with the aim of developing manpower for the middle and lower tier of government in Nigeria. But currently, we develop everything and everyone, thanks to the miracles made by Nigeria.

• Our acronym stands for PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT.

• And without any shade of doubt, we exist as the largest department in UNN(University of Nigeria, Nsukka.) and arguably sub-sahara, Africa.

• To prove that we develop everything and everyone, our students' body thrives with techies, fashionistas, creatives, caterers, security personnel and what have you.

• We also enjoy a wide representation of the ethnicities in Nigeria and even beyond.

•Our location is quite unique as we are face-to-face with the office of the VICE-CHANCELLOR, university of Nigeria Nsukka and surrounded by sister departments at the faculty of social sciences.

• You're free to call our uniform a national anthem. It's WHITE AND BLACK but it would never go out of style just like garri never goes out of demand. Tada! 🙃

• We are currently led by Professor O.U Nnadozie. And at the students' body level by Comr. Eke Charles Dominic.

• We believe in God and His love for humanity even as we love you with the best goods of bureaucracy.

• Oh yes! We are called Bureaucrats. And you sure can guess why.
