🌹 Celebrating Our Blessed Mother — Our Lady of Assumption

Today, St. Michael Group of Schools joyfully joins the Catholic Diocese of Nnewi and the Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, Nnewi, in celebrating the glorious Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

As we gaze upon Mary, assumed into heavenly glory, we are reminded that her life was a beautiful “YES” to God—an example of faith, humility, obedience and unwavering trust.

🌹 Lessons from the Life of Mary

• She listened to God — she was attentive to His call.
• She said YES — even when she could not see the whole plan.
• She trusted — she believed in God’s promises.
• She served — she carried Christ and brought Him to others.
• She persevered — remaining faithful through joy and suffering.
• She remained humble — allowing God to work through her.
• She led others to Jesus — her life always pointed people towards Christ.

The lesson is simple: A life surrendered to God can become a blessing to generations.

We extend our heartfelt felicitations to our dear Bishop, our priests, religious, families and the entire faithful of the Diocese of Nnewi.

May Mary, Our Mother and Queen, continue to intercede for our Diocese, strengthen our faith, and lead us ever closer to Christ.

Happy Solemnity of the Assumption of Our Lady! 🌹
