Gender Responsive Pedagogy held in Yola Adamawa state Nigeria.
The training of Trainers (TOTS) workshop on Capacity Building for Education Stakeholders on Gender Responsive Pedagogy for schools in Nigeria was held on the 13th _16th Feb, 2023 in Yola Adamawa state. The participants included Head Teachers of primary and Secondary Schools, Universal Basic Education representatives, Education secretaries, Local Government Education Secretaries, Quality Assurance,COS , Official of Fawe members from the state. The workshop was facilitated by two Regional Facilitators from Kenya Nairobi, Mrs Teresa Omondi Adeitan and George Chira and our powerful National Fawe president Jiddere Musa. The training was awesome. FAWE Nasarawa State was powerfully represented by our State Chairperson- Dr Augustina Esson Ombugadu.

CHANGE : THE ONLY CONSTANT THING IN LIFE.
👉Teach Young Girls to CHANGE that sanitary pad according to requirements of the flow or after every 6-8 hours to avoid infection such as Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) and Yeast infection popularly known as Toilet infection.
👉Trapped moisture provides a breeding ground for bacteria and fungus, and wearing a pad for too long can lead to an infection.
👉Educate them. Do not assume they know it.
