Do not let your past tell you how big your future can be.

I grew up in a home filled with fighting. My parents were always at war, and my siblings and I
had to act as referees on multiple occasions. I could have let that aspect of my past trap me.

Instead, I decided to dream of my future and picture the exact opposite of the kind of home I
came from. I dreamed of a peaceful home and a purposeful life, achieving it with my wife and children.

Today, almost 15 years into marriage, that peaceful home is my reality.

The size of your success will always match the size of your vision. If you think small, you will
stay small.

29 years ago (1997), I “eventually” got born again.
But before that happened, I was trapped in a subtle life of sin.

I was a subtle thief - I usually stole the leftover change from my mum’s money whenever she
sent me on errands to buy things for her. I used the change to buy “Suya” - and on a few
occasions, she caught me with the “Suya”, not stealing the money.

I was also involved in po*******hy. I was living a double life—going to church on Sundays out of
habit and compulsion, but completely defeated and back to my old ways from Mondays.

Maybe you were like me or you’re currently in such a position. There’s going to be a change!

Then, everything changed for me. I had an encounter and met Jesus Christ.

Not at a massive crusade. Not at a church altar. But sitting completely alone at home, opening a
Bible, and reading 1 Corinthians 3:16-17. Why? Because in those days in Sunday School, we
were mandated to start reading the Bible from the New Testament to help us grow spiritually.

The Word in 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 hit me like a sledgehammer. The Holy Spirit convicted me,
transformed me, and set me on a 29-year trajectory of steady, unstoppable progress in the
Christian faith.

Since that day, I’ve spent over 25 years teaching the Word of God to teenagers, youth, and
adults. I’ve served as a Sunday School Superintendent, Teens Church Superintendent and
stepped into leadership structures in church, school, and even during my National Youth
Service.

But sometime ago, as I was planning to start a secular YouTube channel for my personal
business, the Holy Spirit dropped an inspiration in my heart. He gave me a burning mandate:

“Build a tribe. Share your knowledge and experiences in the Faith. Teach my people how to live
practical, successful Christian lives.”

I'm so glad that we all made it to the year 2024! I declare that this will be your best year so far!
