TGIF! 🥰🥰
Bon weekend!
It's been the end of another successful school week. To God be the glory.
This term, I set three goals for myself and my pupils which are:-
👉 To improve their vocabulary.
👉 To instil and develop the love for reading.
👉 To develop effective communication and creative writing skills.
So far, I can say that we are on track.
During the week, we played around with different words such as indolent, garrulous, insolent, frangipani, atrocious, physiology, extreme, curious, voluminous, enormous, gigantic, abhor, concurrent, meticulous, truant, melodious, convicted, devastated, elaborate, extravagant and many more.
We learnt their spellings, meanings and how to form sentences with them.
Class presentations were also done by the pupils on various topics such as firefighting, the solar system, the excretory system, water disposal and many more. This has also helped their reading habits as they have to prepare for their presentations.
This week has indeed been fulfilling.
I look forward to the week ahead🥰.
Duly signing out for the week,
Mrs Peter.
