Education is not a Scam.
Don't just go to School, Learn a Skill!

Sunday Etoh's one-man protest on Oshodi bridge highlights the struggles many Nigerian graduates face in finding employment after completing their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). While his frustration is understandable, it's essential for youths to consider alternative paths, such as acquiring vocational skills alongside academic pursuits.

Benefits of Vocational Skills alongside academic pursuits:

- Practical Application: Academics with Vocational skills provide hands-on training, enabling individuals to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings.
-Job Readiness: Vocational training alongside academics prepares individuals for specific jobs or industries, making them job-ready upon completion.
- Entrepreneurial Opportunities: Vocational skills can empower individuals to start their own businesses, creating employment opportunities for themselves and others.

In conclusion, while Sunday Etoh's ( one out of many) protest sheds light on the challenges of graduates unemployment, acquiring vocational skills can significantly enhance employability and entrepreneurial prospects.
By combining academic pursuits with vocational training, youths can increase their chances of success in the job market.
