An American man walked into a restaurant in
London. As soon as he entered, he noticed an
African man sitting in the corner. So he walked
over to the counter, removed his wallet and
shouted, "Waiter! I am buying food for
everyone in this restaurant, except that black
African guy over there!"
So the waiter collected the money from the
man and began serving free food to everyone
in the restaurant, except the African.
However,instead of becoming upset, the
African simply looked up at the American and
shouted, "Thank you!"
That infuriated the man.
So once again, the American took out his
wallet and shouted, "Waiter! This time I am
buying bottles of wine and additional food for
everyone in this bar, except for that African man
sitting in the corner over there!"
So the waiter
did as he was instructed. instead of d African man to
be angry,
the African simply smiled at the American man
and shouted, "Thank you!" That made the
American man furious.
So he leaned over on
the counter and said to the waiter, "What is
wrong with that African man? I have bought
food and drinks for everyone in this bar except
for him, but instead of becoming angry, he just
sits there and smiles at me and shouts 'Thank you.'
Is he mad???" The waiter smiled at the American and
said, "No,
he is not mad. He is
the OWNER of this restaurant."

I remember my 1st WAEC. We were writing English. I shaded the ones I knew and was waiting for MANNA to fall when I noticed a very beautiful girl sitting beside me. She was shading and was not looking up. Through the help of my long neck, I peeped and checked her work, she was already in no 65. I was still in 30 and time was almost out. I quickly thanked God and started shading along with her until we got to no 98 together. Suddenly, she looked up, caught me and shouted in a loud voice. "What are it?, Why is you shadeding me?, COPYS! COPYS! You is not shaming! As big as you dey! You is a dūlls boy! You are a disgrace your manhoød!
So I shout, "Hey!!! Hey!!! Hey!!! I am finished! I don't dīe 2day! 5 minutes more? Abeg who get Eraser!

To cut the story short I fail English that year I'm still looking for that lady to compensate her 😭😭

"They have been accustomed to get whatever they want the easy way...But no, life is not a matter of wishing, asking and obtaining. The things that one receives are the effort of what one does. Happiness is the result of effort. Lack of effort creates frustration."
So, share with your children from a young age the secret of life, so they don't grow up with the mentality that the government, their parents, or their cute little faces is going to give them everything they need in life.
