Starting off your young ones in school can be very tasking because of the many options of schools available. First thing to remember is the fact that your child is accustomed to being surrounded by loving people, and the school is their first time spending a large portion of their day away from those people. So, it is very important to look for a school that is collegial. Parents can get to know this by talking to other parents whose children are already members of the school, this would create a non biased environment for communication.

Socialization with other children other than the child's family in a safe environment is an essential element in a child's developmental journey. Parents intuitively understand the importance of introducing their children to other children and support their transition into other friendship circles. The earlier this is done, the better, as it helps children overcome shyness and gain self confidence.

Yoruba culture is unique in many ways! One of its most celebrated features is the legendary 'gan gan' which is also known as the Talking Drum. The talking drum is made of wood with leather
cords running the full length of the drum to connect the two drum heads.
