SMS METHOD FOR ACCEPTING ADMISSION NOW DEACTIVATED

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially disabled the method of accepting admission via SMS.

All 2025/2026 candidates who have been offered admission are now required to visit any accredited JAMB CBT centre to accept their admission.

NOTE:
This update does not affect those who have already accepted their admission.
If youโ€™ve accepted before, you donโ€™t need to โ€œre-acceptโ€ your record is safe.

This applies only to candidates who have been offered admission but are yet to accept it.

Donโ€™t delay visit the nearest JAMB CBT centre and complete the process now.

JAMB OPENS PORTAL FOR CORRECTION OF DETAILS

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates can now correct their Name, Date of Birth, State of Origin, and Local Government Area (LGA) on the JAMB portal.

All candidates who made mistakes during registration are advised to visit any approved JAMB CBT Centre to make these corrections immediately.

โœ… Ensure that your details match your NIN, Birth Certificate, and School Records to avoid issues during admission or NYSC registration.

His appointment takes effect from February 11, 2026, and will last for five years.

He succeeds Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, whose tenure ends in February 2026.
