Monday and Tuesday June 17 & 18, 2024 respectively have been declared as public holiday to mark Id el Kabir celebration.

Students are all enjoined to use this period and update their work as the term draws closer to an end.

Teachers and Students are expected to resume school on Wednesday June 19, 2024.

FG DECLARES WEDNESDAY AS PUBLIC HOLIDAY.
Tuesday June 11, 2024.

The Federal Government has declared Wednesday, June 12 as public holiday to commemorate this year’s Democracy Day.

This was made known in a press statement by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo through the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Dr Aishetu Ndayako.

Teachers and Students are all expected to resume on Thursday June 14, 2024.

*BECE Commences at NUJ Pen College, Nyiman.*
Tuesday May 28th, 2024.

Teaching, Learning and other co-curricular activities has resumed fully at NUJ Pen College, Nyiman-Makurdi after a long weekend holiday occasioned by 2024 Children's Day Celebration.

Today also marks the commencement of Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for the year 2024.

We wish all the Basic nine (9) students participating in the BECE a successful examination and pray that they will all come out in flying colours.

All the S.S.S 3 students sitting for NECO this year with NUJ Pen College, Nyiman who are yet to submit their National Identification Number (NIN) are advised to do so on or before Tuesday May 28th 2024.

Candidates are to note that this is the last opportunity they have as they will bear the consequence(s) should they fail to adhere to this directive thereafter.

The preparation for physics practical earlier scheduled to hold on Monday next week shall now hold tomorrow Saturday May 25, 2024 at NUJ Pen College Nyiman by 9:00am prompt.

We regret all inconvenience this might have caused due to this change.

In addition, all Neco candidates should equally come along with their NIN.

DG BEQA COMMENDS NUJ PEN COLLEGE, NYIMAN.

Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024.

The Director General of the Benue State Education Quality Assurance Agency (BEQA), Dr. Terna Francis, has commended NUJ Pen College, Nyiman. He expressed satisfaction that under the New Management, there has been exceptional improvement in teaching and learning, record keeping and a conducive learning environment. He gave the commendation while conducting his routine monitoring within Makurdi town today.

Responding, the Ag. Principal, Mr Emmanuel Buter Igbuusu on behalf of the Lead Consultant, Rev. Fr Terungwa TOR thanked the DG and his team for their visit and commendations. Mr Buter also expressed the New Management's enthusiasm to uplighting the educational standards of the Benue Child.

The Principal also assured the DG of the Project Manager, Timothy TOR's sustained efforts at ensuring quality education in the school.

The DG then departed with his team to continue with the monitoring exercise to other schools.

Fellowship of Christian Students(FCS)

The F.C.S NUJ Pen College Nyiman Chapter today hosted Corp Members from the Redeemed Christian Corpers Fellowship (RCCF), Nyiman District.

Major highlights during the event include praise/worship, testimonies and sermon.

The sermon was led by the RCCF President, Nyiman District, Master Meyebi Okeboh with the title "Purpose Driven Life" taken from Jeremiah 1:5.
