RELIEF Relief; in general term, relief is anything that can make someone to sound physically health. That is to cure one's illness. Geographically relief is the anticline and syncline of a place(the up and down of an area) when they are talking of relief it simply mean lowland and highland. Lowland are places with 300m below, such as R.BENUE, R.NIGER DELTAL BASIN and among others,these regions are good for mineral deposit, human habitation e.t.c.
