A Toxicologist that operates a snake farm which harbours 4,700,000 snakes in Nasarawa was in Brekete Family radio this morning and provided the following information.
The things that attract snakes to the house are:
1) Egg shells can attract snakes 15 kilometers away.
2) Chickens
3) Rats

All snakes are poisonous except python. But the speed of the circulation and strength of the poison differ.
Tying a bandage or tourniquet around snake bite causes swelling and can paralyze the part of the body bitten by the snake. Trekking after a snake bite increases the rate/speed of circulation of the poison which can result to death.
Drinking cold water from the fridge slows down the flow of the poison. Being calm and reducing movement helps. Chewing pawpaw leaf and swallowing the liquid stops the flow of snake poison till treatment is received.
If a snake spits its deadly venom into the eye, it can be treated if the victim seeks help on time. But if the venom enters the nose, the victim can die in a matter of minutes.

Wall gecko is deadlier than snake. If it leaks a tooth brush and someone uses the brush to clean teeth without washing it first, the person will die. Educate your friends and family about this.

Lack of integrity, divided loyalty, and playing the devil's advocate amongst Benue youths and elders has led them into embracing loyalty of crumbs and pochoism with a total lost of integrity into a mentally re****ed minds.

If one politician misses out in the power constellation, they move their ever hungry mouths to where the next piece of crumbs will drop. If that source later loses out, they go looking another direction.

Instantly, they turn, insulting the last benefactor, and they never remember or want to mention the last man who carried and fed them like a baby.

They see development from the pieces of crumbs in their mouths against the overall development of their communities and state.

Now they are taking pictures with the Leader, calling names like daddy, and putting up smiles behind a vicious wolf clothing.

Well, I learnt a lot from the Leader, he once told me, and I quote,
"Iwar, a Leader must be insulted, he must develop a thick skin for that, but one thing a leader must always keep in mind is never to lose focus" - Sen George Akume CON.

What will happen if Chef Damilo achieves the ongoing 120-hour 'Cook-A-Thon' to break Hilda Bacci's 100 hours?

First, when someone attempts to break a world record, they have to follow specific rules and guidelines set by Guinness World Records.

After their attempt, they need to provide evidence, such as videos, photos, and witness statements, to prove they accomplished the record.

Then, Guinness World Records carefully reviews this evidence to ensure everything is fair and accurate.

In Chef Hilda Bacci's case, even though she successfully cooked for 100 hours and broke the previous record, she hasn't received her certificate yet.

This is because the people at Guinness World Records are still checking the evidence she submitted. They want to be certain that everything was done correctly and that she truly deserves the record.

Now, here's where it gets interesting.

While Chef Hilda is waiting for her certificate, another chef, Damilola Adeparusi, is attempting to break the same record.

This is happening a few weeks later and from the same country, Nigeria.

Chef Damilola has been criticized for attempting such a feast. Some people suggest that she should have waited for a while before attempting to break it.

Some say it's jealousy and envy.

Some people suggest that Hilda Bacci will be disqualified because of this.

And some believe that Damilola will be disqualified for attempting it within a short period of time.

All lies.

Nothing will happen to either of them, even if the records are set and broken in less than one hour.

That means someone can set the record now, and in 39 minutes, another person will break it, and nothing will happen, even if they are from the same family.

In fact, Guinness World Records encourages applicants to always seek records to break.

We must not be clouded by emotions and think it's envy or jealousy.

Record-breaking is a competition, and it doesn't matter whether the former holder was the record holder for long.

It will interest you to know that Guinness World Records does not offer or pay anybody for breaking a record. They don't pay you.

If you're not strategic, you'll spend your money alone.

If everything turns out well for Hilda Bacci, she will receive her certificate as a record holder, and the same goes for Chef Damilola.

So please, don't criticize Chef Damilola. The sky is big enough to contain everyone who dreams and works towards it.

And just like Hilda Bacci, Guinness World Records will review Damilola's evidence separately.

They will look at everything carefully to ensure Damilola met all the requirements and didn't break any rules during their cooking marathon.

If everything checks out and Damilola did indeed break the record, she will be recognized as the new record holder, and Guinness World Records will award her the certificate.

Nothing is spoiled. And no be envy or jealousy. Nah competition.
