UPPER PRIMARY EXCURSION!
The Upper Primary learners embarked on an educational excursion to the Bureau for Arts, Culture and Tourism, Benue State.
The visit aimed to expose students to the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the people of Benue State.
They learned about the three major ethnic groups in Benue State (Tiv, Idoma, and Igede) and their unique cultural identities, got familiarized with traditional attires, observed and learned from a wide range of artefacts, including traditional tools, household items, and musical instruments, watched live traditional dance performances showcasing the state's cultural diversity.
The experience broadened their knowledge of Benue State's cultural heritage, brought about an appreciation for the beauty and uniqueness of cultural diversityand inspired them to value, preserve, and promote traditions!
