APPOINTMENT OF NEW PREFECTS/FUNCTIONARIES FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
Today, new shoulders carry new responsibilities. Not just badges, titles or positions, but the trust of an entire school community.
To our newly appointed prefects and functionaries, this is more than a moment of celebration. It is the beginning of leadership, sacrifice, discipline and example. The school has chosen you because it sees in you the ability to stand for order when others choose chaos, to lead when others hesitate, and to serve even when it is inconvenient.
Leadership in school is never about making noise or feeling superior. It is about becoming the bridge between students and authority, protecting the values of the school, and leaving behind a standard others will remember long after you graduate.
May your tenure be marked by wisdom, fairness, courage and humility. May you lead with strength but still remain approachable. May your actions speak louder than your titles.
Congratulations to the newly appointed prefects and functionaries. The journey of service begins now.

LAST DAYS AT TWINKLES: DAY 5 (SPORTS DAY)
Nobody is acting normal today, and the funny thing is that nothing has even started yet.
You can already feel the energy before the first whistle, before the first match, before anybody even steps onto the field. Everybody is coming to school with one thing on their mind, Sport Day.
Some people are already preparing to play like their lives depend on it. Others are coming just for the vibes, the shouting, the pictures, the competition, and the chaos that somehow makes the whole day fun. Either way, nobody wants to miss today.
I already know the field will be loud. There’ll be unnecessary arguments over goals, dramatic celebrations, people suddenly becoming professional coaches from the sidelines, and classmates turning into rivals for a few hours. That’s the beauty of Sport Day, it brings out a completely different side of everybody.
As a final year student, today feels even more important. It’s one of those days you don’t fully understand while it’s happening, but years later you’ll remember the noise, the heat, the laughter, and the people you shared it with.
Right now, it’s still morning. Nothing has unfolded yet.
But somehow, everybody already knows today is going to be one for the memories.

From old fashion styles to old vibes and endless laughter, today was one of those days that deserved to be paused for a little longer.
The Last Days at Twinkles are beginning to feel more emotional with every passing event. Soon this will all become stories and pictures in galleries, but for now, we live every moment fully.

LAST DAYS AT TWINKLES; DAY 4 (OLD SCHOOL DAY)
Today feels like stepping into a different time.
Old School Day is more than just dressing differently or trying to recreate the past for fun. Walking into school looking like people from another generation somehow makes you think about how simple life must have felt back then, before trends changed every second and everything became so fast.
The funny part is seeing everyone completely transformed. The hairstyles, oversized shirts, suspenders, old fashioned bags, dark shades, vintage looks, all of it makes the school environment feel unfamiliar in the best way possible. For one day, it’s like we all left the present behind and agreed to live in another era.
As final year students, days like this mean more than we admit. We laugh, take pictures, and act unserious, but deep down we know we’re creating memories we’ll come back to years from now. One day, we too will become the “old school” people another set of students talks about.
What makes today beautiful is not even the outfits alone, it’s the togetherness behind it. Different personalities, different backgrounds, different friend groups, but everybody showing up to enjoy one moment together before this chapter slowly closes.
Today is loud, funny, chaotic, and nostalgic all at once.
Old School Day at Twinkles really said one thing clearly: memories never go out of style.

Day 3(Cultural day)
Our SS3 students didn’t just dress up, they represented identity, heritage, and pride. From vibrant fabrics to regal styles, every outfit told a story of who we are and where we come from.
As they prepare to step into a new chapter, they leave not just with knowledge, but with culture, class, and unforgettable memories.
💥Stay tuned we’ll be serving something special soon

LAST DAYS AT TWINKLES (DAY 3: CULTURAL DAY)
I’m heading to school this morning looking nothing like the usual uniform version of myself, and honestly, it already feels different, for once it’s not about uniform compliance or checking if your tie is straight. Today feels personal.
Today is Cultural Day, and I’m not just going to watch it, I’m part of it. There’s something about wearing your culture that changes your whole mindset. It stops being just school and starts feeling like you’re representing something deeper than yourself.
What makes today even more real is this, we’ve all been from completely different cultural backgrounds, different languages, different traditions, yet we’ve spent years in the same classrooms, reading the same notes, writing the same exams, growing side by side without even thinking too much about those differences. Today just brings all of that to the surface in the best way.
I already know the compound will be full of colour and life. People I see every day will look completely different today, and it makes you appreciate them in a new way.
As a final year student, this one hits differently. You start realizing moments like this are limited, so you slow down and actually take it in.
I’m going in today not just as a student, but as someone carrying my culture with pride, while standing among others who’ve been different from me, yet somehow always felt like home.
